Well, I’ve got it downloading. Wonder if it’ll be like Wizardry (rand battles) or Might & Magic (visible enemies w/ turn-based movement).

It’s like might and magic. It’s also an excellent game. Unfortunately, I got about 10 hours into it, and was dumb enough to synch my phone. Apparently when you synch your apps, it erases them and all data associated with them, then re copies them back onto the phone. So my 10 hours was gone.
I have absolutely no idea why it does this, but needless to say, I haven’t synched my phone since.
Hm Weird, that sync issue did never happen to me. It would only do something like this if there was an App update. Maybe a Bug in an earlier version?
I could not post more about Undercroft as I was on the road. I really highly recommend it if you are in “retro” Party based RPG stuff. It is a bit silly at times but I enjoy it very much. Better controls then “The Quest” too! Link to a Review. Paid for it and did not regret the purchase so grab it while it is free
Before you synch, in iTunes where it lists your iPhone right click and choose “transfer purchases” or some such, and it will copy anything you’ve bought on your phone onto your computer. Should prevent the issue you had.

Did you try restoring from the backup?

Neuroshima Hex is out:
Looks like a very cool boardgame conversion. I haven’t personally played the boardgame, but the screens alone have sold me.
The boardgame is fantastic. I love asymmetrical games, and this is one of my favorites. Been waiting impatiently for it to appear in the App store, so thanks for the heads up.

Seconded. I never finished it but I easily sunk 20 hours in to it.

Hex really needs a way to pull up tile details in game so you can get more information about it.

You can access the manual at any time, which describes all the icons on each unit/hex.

Does anyone know if Neuroshima Hex is a universal app for the iPad? I wish it had multiplayer. The only game i play on my iPad is Small World, I could use another board game.
It isn’t universal. It’s also pretty inexpensive.
There is an Ipad version coming. On the Touch Arcade thread, they show a video of it on the ipad even. here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sj1GikD6TIY&feature=player_embedded
I’m so gonna go kill my battery tonight on this one. Sometimes it’s nice to not have to pull out the game box. Can’t wait for them to add multiplay (online and local wifi/bluetooth). Also can’t wait for the other armies.

Thanks. For $3 I’ll probably get it. Do you know if it’s a free upgrade?
In every situation, they’ve referred to it as the Ipad version. I’m working under the assumption that it’s a separate purchase (as will be any of the armies. If you want them on both, until they announce the exact setup, assume you’re going to have to buy them both.)
Note, they have not said yet how they’re going to make the other two armies available in NS Hex yet.
I’m in love with my ipod gaming right now. Rimelands, Undercroft, Neuroshima Hex, Carcassone, Roll Through the Ages, Galcon Labs, Sherlock, Civ Rev, and Dungeon Solitare. That doesn’t account for the other eighty games I’ve purchased or gotten for free in various sales etc. Some great gaming to pass the time while waiting for the next call in the call center.

Thanks, I’m assuming the same and waiting for the iPad version.
Very much the same.
Why, I’m so pleased with it, the only thing I can think to do is whine about what I want to see released next. Such as SNK vs. Capcom: Card Fighters Clash. Icewind Dale. Defcon.
Get on these now, devs! NOW!
I hope Dungeon Hunter drops in price here soon now that DH2 has been announced. I need a Diabalike and Underworld is a little too crappy.
iPad versions of the Infinity Engine games would be awesome.
