I dunno if I could play D&D 2nd edition nowadays though. I like 3rd/3.5, and 4.0 even better. shrug Honestly, being able to play those on the ipad would be cool.

I’m holding off on Hex until I hear something about the AI. Already wasted money on Kingsburg. I think my puppy could beat that AI.
I don’t want to hurt anybody, but I would kill a man in front of his own mama for a Baldur’s Gate 2 remake using the 3.5 ruleset.
…
Hell, I don’t even care what it’s on! (Though preferably iPhone.)
After playing eight games, the ai is good. It knows how to use the modules, and when to play all it’s tokens for max effect. I’m enjoying it and I’m still on the easy ai.

I love my iPad, but as a gaming device, it is quite disappointing… Here’s hoping game room, that premade engine ban lift will stimulate development. If only retina display upgraded apps would work on the iPad…
Can’t wait to get my iPhone 4 though, when they will get some in my shithole city.

Are those kind of hex directional piece board games fairly common? I don’t know much of the genre but it reminds me of the little collectible hex game in The Last Scenario RPGMaker game.

Yay Neuroshima Hex!
And great AI so far, I have split games with it on easy.
Okay, just got a note back from the devs, and the other two armies currently available for the boardgame and a larger board will be in app purchase.
Looks like there’s a new version of Romance of the Three Kingdoms in the store… ROTK Plus. Costs $13.99.
For whatever reason am tempted to check out Sims 3: Ambitions…

Agreed and I don’t know what I’m doing yet. Looks good on the iPad on 2X, but I’ll get the iPad version too. Looking forward to digging into this.
Solomon’s Boneyard is free for a day, and should be worth checking out for fans of twin-stick shooters.
Latest update to MI2 seems to have wiped out my saves :(
Yep, it’s a known bug. This is why I always wait a while and read the comments before updating.
Dink Smallwood (a great free PC game) is now available as a universal app for $3. Think Legend of Zelda with a sense of humor: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dink-smallwood-hd/id391690243?mt=8
Dink Smallwood? I played that like 10 years ago on PC, it was a lot of fun. I’ll have to grab that, I think.

Couple of bigger games (Note: I didn’t say GOOD games) went on sale:
Iron Man 2 (Gameloft)
Capcom:
1942 - First Strike
Dark Void Zero
Mega Man II
Resident Evil 4
Who wants to be a millionaire 2010 (not sure if it’s as big as the German version of that show)
All titles for $0.99.
I got Iron Man 2, Dark Void Zero and Resident Evil 4.
Hex is really good, like it alot. Wish it had Multiplayer and Game Center support :-( Are there any other similar Games available? I already have Carcassone wich Is a brilliant translation.
If you mean adaptions of awesome board, card and dice games, yes. Catan is available, though I don’t know how good it is. Zooloretto is a good adaption. Samurai is excellent and offers a really great asynchronous multiplayer that not nearly enough people are playing. Roll Through the Ages. Keltis and Keltis Oracle. Medici. Modern Art.
