Axe In Face. Best 99 cents I’ve spent in a while.

I’m kind of mixed on Neuroshima Hex. On the one hand, the AI seems pretty good on Medium, and when the tile draw is reasonable on both sides, there’s a lot of back-and-forth and occasional complex positional considerations. On the other, sometimes the tile draw is grossly unfair, and it goes all your way or all the computer’s. Getting a lot of attack bonus tiles before you get any actual troop tiles can be crippling, and once one side has a stranglehold on the board, it’s difficult to recover.

I’ve found that to be quite true, but then it’s usually over so quickly that I have no problem just launching into the next game.

Hex has really overtaken Gipsy Kings as my “go to quick strategy game” for iphone

That’s the main reason I’m still playing, the games go very fast, and the next game will probably be more evenly matched.

I can’t stop playing Monster Dash. Way too random but also way too addictive!

And Neuroshima Hex just got announced as a universal app. http://www.neuroshimahex.com

Sold. Outside of Chinatown Wars I have been avoiding all games that try and segment themselves into HD and non HD.

Bahim, what’s your samurai nick? I’ve been playing the hell outta it lately.

I got minze!!

Undercroft first…N.Hex looks like it is next.

Hooray for birthday cash!!!

ANd what review site do you guys use? Preferably one where you can actually sort by genre. TouchArcade?

Should be in there under Bahimiron.

I just look at this thread…

Galaxy on Fire is free today:

Fruit Ninja sells two million copies, players slice 24 billion fruits!

Fruit Ninja is my go-to game when I have 2 minutes or less to play. It’s mildly entertaining.

I prefer the Veggie Samurai rip-off.

Veggie Samurai is actually better – the “dicing” (multi slice) is way fun.

Interesting, they finally fixed the name of the Kingsburg app. (It was Kinsburg)

SO far only free stuff

Sword and Poker 2 - Lite: I made it through the first area dying only once. With the fixed card layout of 5X5 being so small and the repetitiveness mentioned previously already rearing its head, I can’t see getting the full game with so much else to choose from.

Pocket Frogs: It seems like it should be more fun than it is. I have one full habitat and cannot bring myself to do anymore breeding.

Godfinger: - I know you all mentioned it in here somewhere. I played it up to level 7 and have found it pretty fun so far.

I want to give Pocket Legends a go.

Man, I had no idea how much was available even from the exhaustive coverage in this thread.

“Final Fantasy” and “Final Fantasy 2”
are on sale to celebrate new language versions for $3.99 each.

Big sale on random games including Civ Rev.

I am too new to post links - someone else link to the touch arcade article for me?
