Yeah it looks pretty good, I may buy this at some point.

You can’t beat NHL 2K11 for a measly $0.99. Whoa.

I didn’t realize until today, but Stoneship came out last week or so. This is the new sea exploration/pirate fighting game from Cyan (Myst). It looks like a lite strategy RPG thing. Anyone tried it?

Yes. It’s not bad. Its also a copy of a game Called Oasis.

The two games are so similar is scary. Stoneship is ok, but is still a little crash prone on the iPod 2g that I own.

Oh, I know oasis very well. Stoneship sold!

After playing wabash cannonball, I find myself wanting an Aquire game for iPod or android

Is your problem space on your iPhone? If so, why not buy in iTunes? It still downloads the app immediately but at least it’s not taking up space on your phone.

I think he was talking about the download size over 3g.

Can anyone recommend any of the iPhone roguelikes?

I know there is 100 Rogues, Rogue Touch and Sword of Fargoal.

Curious as to what the Qt3 roguelike fans think.

Really loving Cut the Rope. Great puzzle game.

Yeah, it’s pretty fantastic. The iPad version is nicely done too, though it continues the irritating trend of games with separate ‘HD’ versions instead of a single universal app.

100 Rogues is a lot of fun. A very slick Roguelike designed for quick play sessions, which makes it very iPhone friendly, IMHO.

Seconding 100 Rogues, now that it’s all working properly (at least as far as I can tell). Great game to hop in and clear a level in a few minutes.

Yeah Cut the Rope is pretty cool I bought the ipad version and for 1.99 you can’t go wrong.

Are there any RPGs that I should look into? Aside from Roguelikes.

The Quest. Insanely huge, deep open world first-person RPG. I’m still stunned it exists on a mobile platform.

For lighter fare, the Wolfenstein and DOOM II RPGs are quite good.

Yea, The Quest and its expansions will give you well over 100 hours of gameplay. It really is like a portable Oblivion (with Daggerfall graphics)

Hell it might even be better in some ways.

Undercroft is free now and is pretty good. It’s like M&M.

This. I bitched about it in a couple of other threads already. Though it turns out that sending it as a gift to an alternate e-mail works just fine. When I got back into wifi coverage, I just loaded up the e-mail, hit redeem and it grabbed it.

Let’s not be hasty.

Cut the rope seems to be the new angry birds.
A small cute and cool game that fits the iphone formula dead on.

Totally agree. Both of these games are by far my favorites.
