It looks pretty and if it controls well, I’ll probably pick it up. It sounds like Chair kind of misrepresented what the game was gonna be though.
I’m really curious how Jenga and Dead Rising Mobile turn out too.
Now you’re making me feel guilty about my doubtless never-to-be-completed shameless MoM ripoff. :>

Rayman 2 is free today. It seems like a great port so far. God I wish we’d get another true Rayman game again. Such a charming series.
Puzzle Quest 2 looks really awesome but $9.99? That’s like real money! I don’t have any problem waiting for that to go on sale!

Aww, man, you got my hopes up that it was out already. Comes out tonight, right?
It still sounds like a great deal, though. It’s a significant discount over the other handheld versions.

Hmm I would like to see the ipad version for that price.

Oh really now I will have to check that when it comes out. I’ll bite at that price.

Touch Arcade really likes Infinity Blade:

I bought Infinity Blade, Dungeon Hunter 2 and Eternal Legacy.
So far Infinity Blade is awesome. Tiny lag on iPhone 4, but maybe due to downloading the other 2 games. So far, I can say it’s worth it. I will try it on iPad later.
More impressions to come!!
Infinity Blade is pretty cool. And it’s a helluva lot more fun and playable than id’s Rage game shudder.
On to bloodline 2 in Infinity Blade!

Hey now! Rage HD is awesome with tilt controls!
Dungeon Hunter 2 is amazing too. Diablo meets Torchlight, and it’s real pretty! Only problem is some hiccups concerning frame rate, but otherwise solid. Loot appears on your character and there is multiplayer with Game Center. Need I say more?
Sentinel 3: Homeworld is out as well, and even on sale for a while! That’s the sequel to two of my favorite tower defense games. Expensive week on the iPod (which means I almost pay half as much as for a single non-iPod game!).

I’ve done a few maps on it so far and it seems to basically be more Sentinel with the caveat that you will have to make some basic choices on what to bring into battle. Still I think all of the Sentinel games are some of the best TD available with crisp framerates on older devices, meaningful upgrading of towers, and a fair amount of strategy involved to win on the harder difficulties.
We definitely need to support companies that aren’t just shitting out freemium garbage.
I’ve seen this elsewhere but was thinking the same thing, Infinity Blade is basically a mashup of Demon’s Souls and Punch Out. That should tell you all you need to know if you’d be interested in it or not.

That sounds like the coolest game on earth.
