Dungeon Raid is now $.99. Whoop!

Is “The Quest Gold” worth $4.99?

Super Mega Worm is free right now!

All of this and I was sick to death of match 3 games years ago. With that in mind, I will echo the fact that the game is waaaaay more fun than it ought to be.

Yep. If you dig an old Elder Scrolls type of game for your phone, it’s done pretty well. The graphics aren’t great, but there’s a ton there to explore. I know I’ve put more than 10 hours into it.

And if you have not already checked it out, there is a free Lite version.

BTW, Dungeon Raid is on sale for 99 cents right now. (I love you, AppShopper app!) Picked it up yesterday but haven’t tried it yet. (Which is the case for about half the games on my iPad/iPhone, but if I’m ever trapped on a desert island along with an iPhone charger…)

I posted the same thing last night. :p. Appshopper also told me.

Try it now. I have several I have not tried, but it extremely easy to jump into and a crapload of fun. I played for 3 straight hours last night when I should have been resting up for work.

Super Mega Awesome. I beat it on my first try but what a fun 20 minutes that was.

Minter’s next Iphone game is basically Llamatron

Sold! That looks pretty great.

Catan is on sale for $2.99 now.

The iPad version is also on sale but is getting horrible reviews.

It seems that Sword & Poker is now available again. I successfully purchased the first one today.

Wow! Thanks for the heads-up!
I was really bummed when I found out that I couldn’t buy them a while ago. I even emailed the developer but got no reply.
Bought both now as I haven’t found any other game on the App Store so far that resembles the concept!

Very happy gamer now! :)

Reiner Knizia’s Keltis (made by the same people who did Catan) is also on sale for $.99. It gets good reviews. Or maybe Reiner Knizia’s Keltis Oracle gets the good reviews, which is a similar game? I don’t know. I’ll probably get it, though. I’m a sucker for boardgames on the iPad.

Sold!

Edit: Okay, Keltis doesn’t even have Reiner Knizia’s name attached to it, but Keltis Oracle does. However Keltis is based off of a board game (Keltis, or Lost Cities: the Board Game in the US) which was made by Reiner Knizia. Keltis Oracle is based on Keltis das Orakel, which is another Reiner Knizia game which was sort of a followup to Keltis. So caveat emptor. If the people doing Keltis couldn’t get Reiner’s signoff even though it’s his game, I donno if that means the game is poo or what.

Dungeon Raid has been every bit as addictive as Game Dev Story / Sword and Poker for me. It’s half match 3 game, half rogue-like. It’s a must-buy at 99c.

(okay, maybe 90% match 3, 10% rogue-like, but it adds a whole new dimension to match 3)

I was struck by annoyance when I found out I’d bought Dungeon Raid right before the price drop, but… I HAVE PLAYED THIS DAMN GAME FOR HOURS AND HOURS AND HOURS

Totally worth the full price.

Sword & Poker killed my productivity yesterday. Goddam game.

That looks interesting. Should I just go ahead and get Sword & Poker 2?
