Thanks for the tip on Hive.
I would second getting Knizia’s Money. I didn’t think much of it after reading the rules, but it is a great filler, and a good implementation.
Oh man, I have wanted to discover hidden clues since the iPhone came out.

Dinosaur Battle Dance I’d buy, but Dragon Dance? Nah.
Hi Robert,
You’re welcome to join the forum to tell us about your game and hopefully talk about it, but we’d appreciate something a bit more personal than a cut-and-paste job. If you’d like to buy advertising, feel free to get in touch with me via PM or email.

Anyone know why Rimelands has disappeared from the App Store?
“We pulled it off because of a major UI bug. It should be back in few days.” according to their Facebook page.
Thanks, appreciate the info!
Played a bit more Cows vs Aliens, and it’s better than I first thought. I had not realized that you could herd the cows with two fingers, which makes a big difference in herding speed. True story!

I got this one for my iPhone, and it looks lovely, but I have serious troubles when my party members overlap. I basically find that I need to move my tank all over the place to grab enemies, and sooner or later everything becomes an uncontrollable little ball of overlapped sprites. Any hints about dealing with this problem? Is there some UI or gameplay option I’ve missed?
Can I be the first to say that Battleheart sucks? Nice graphics, great music, primitive gameplay, terrible controls. As mentioned above, characters often overlap so you can select only the one in front. Targeting is unreliable and the special ability trigger often fails to switch to the selected character.
And I really fail to see the attraction of the braindead gameplay. There’s one empty screen with background graphics, monsters come in, and you (vainly try to) target them until they’re dead. Most cheaper iPhone games I’ve played are more engaging than that.

I’ll gladly be the second.

I cannot get over how much I like Dungeon Raid. If you have an iPhone, I am hard pressed to find a reason NOT to own it. Everyone probably already does, though.
One thing, what are people’s highest character level? Scores don’t matter as much, but I am curious as to how badly people would kill me in some sort of head-to-head scoring match. I get stuck in a strategy rut in these games and, evidently, like beating my head against the wall. This game is no different. You’d think I would get frustrated and bored, but dying at level 4 or 5 every time does not appear to phase me. (I know, that is horrible and I am playing on NORMAL!!!)
EDIT: My highest is actually level 8, but not regularly.

Yeah, playing it on an iPad.
To be honest I hadn’t noticed that there was a character level. I thought we were all going for points. Clearly I need to pay attention to those results after the game ends instead of just swearing loudly.

Battlehearts could be awesome if it wasn’t for the overlapping thing. Such a mess.

I had never gotten past level 8 (which I think I had reached all of 3 times in at least 50+ tries), until my current game (on Easy) for which I’ve hit level 87.
I really wish I had signed in to OpenFeint :P
[EDIT: Dear god. There should be an end-screen for this game. Lv 99 sounds about right, never mind 999]
