Hrm No-win situation recognized. Carry on here :P

I think you have survived the Qt3 baptism by fire. You have my vote.

Describe in single words only the good things that come to mind about your mother.

Ignore him. He sucks at MAG.

Tom just gave me permission to pimp my game here, so, yay! :)

The game is called “The Fish Dies in the End” and has the player controlling a cute little fish trying to survive against various obstacles and enemies. It’s an endless-type of game with simple, one-touch controls and, if the title wasn’t clue enough, you play until the fish dies.

There’s a trailer that you can watch and, if interested, there’s also a website, twitter (@thefishdies) and Facebook page.

I realize that Qt3 users are generally interested in more hardcore games but this is still my preferred and most trusted community and I’d love to hear some feedback from you guys.

You must have me mistaken for someone else. I have a chestful of medals and ribbons that say otherwise.

So the next hotness is launching Thursday (maybe tomorrow at 11pm est). Sword and Sworcery EP: the archetypal videogame adventure. At first on iPad, and next week on iPhone and iPod touch.

The presentation is really unmatched, and there is supposed to be massive spoilers, so avoid reading too much on it. But it is safe to say the videos on the website are safe to watch, andthe music is incredible.

Wow, you caught my interest on S&S!

Just bought this game Forget-Me-Not.

It’s like a Pac-man/Tutankham/Flower mix.

Pretty fun and the retro early-80’s sounds are cool…

Dungeon Raid has finally been updated!

Actually Tom usually encourages developer pimping, so if the game is your and you want to tell us what makes it great, that’s cool.

I’ll download it based on the name alone.

I am sorry, I think the iPhone version will be coming out in a months time :S. Unless you have an iPad, in which case, HYPE!

I think we should just have an iOS thread that lumps iPad with Phone and iPod touch. There aren’t that many iPad exclusives…

Dungeon Raid update looks awesome, I can’t wait to check it out!

EDIT:

Also, FF III is launching to day at the STUNNING price point of 13 USD. Squenix be trippin’!

Forget-Me-Not is indeed awesome. It’s an arcade game ripped from 1982 with fantastic sound effects. The direction changes take some getting used to (swipe to change direction) especially if you’re trying to make several rapid turns, but the game’s charm wins it over. Another score attack game to add to the collection.

Is that Japan’s FF3 or US’s FF3 (which is, what, Japan’s FF6?)

Looks like Japanese 3 from the screenshot. At least it’s definitely not the US 3, the names are wrong.

So are the dungeon raid unlocks just random?

I opened up Gamecenter and saw that there were now achievements for Dungeon Raid. I thought, “Surely I have not missed that all this time” and “Why in the hell do I not have some of these?”.

Excited about the other changes, too. Especially since this has been one of the few “videogames” I have touched in the last month or so.

I am getting some stutters when getting achievements. Sometimes it will freeze for a couple of seconds before resuming gameplay.

Sword and Sworcery for iPad launch imminent!

So far the first impressions I have read have been overwhelmingly positive.

Shit is magical. Best music and presentation of any iOS game.

Just finished the first “session”, and it is truly incredible.
