Not sure if it’s a recent update or not, but that’s completely configurable in the options. I have mine set to send push notifications only for wishlist price drops (not updates) and to disable them entirely between 11 pm and 8 am.

Yea its not worldwide yet. Not a clue why.

It started out as a Korean app actually.

Thanks Tracy. (I think. I still have A list games on the PS3 and XBox I haven’t played yet, more on order, and now I find myself playing games on my phone. And looking for more. LOL!)

So it is! Thanks for the head up. I’m fairly sure your only choice back when I first installed it was “on or off,” but it’s good to see they’ve changed it.

I got an email today (from Popcap) notifying me that Bejeweled 2 and Bejeweled Blitz are free through Sunday.

Majesty is $1 and it’s Universal.

Awesome. Where are these options and can I do that for email?

The second episode of Hector is out. Haven’t played it yet, but I’ll let you know how it is when I do.

Spectre 3D is out, universal, and free at the moment. That’s some good retro vector action right there.

Got Bejeweled 2 via FAAD. I also check App Miner daily.

Click the little gear icon in the app to access the options menu.

For email, you can make some adjustments at http://appshopper.com/profile once you log in.

This looks interesting

Cthulhu X-com game in WW1?

Looks pretty cool alright. Surprised this kind of game is being made for iPhone though.

Starting today the first 4k downloads are only $.99. Then the next 43k downloads are $1.99.

Is this available to furriners yet?

Getting Jetpack Joyride late last night and playing “just for a bit” before going to bed turned out to be a mistake, as measured by avoiding sleep debt. Great little twist on the “cave flyer” style with a really dangerous “just one more go” upgrade treadmill, random tasks to accomplish for more treadmilling, and slot machine effects on the reward centers.

Posted in Ipad thread but this is universal. Some quick thoughts on Samurai Bloodshow

I decided to grab it. Only did the first mission (and tutorials) but I like it so far. If you liked Plants V. Zombies you should like this. It’s a fair bit different though. You draw from your deck for playable cards, draws cost money. You can move your units around the playfield after you’ve played them for a small fee. You can also upgrade/heel your units by playing the same card on top of them. I rather like the music/art, it’s sort of doing the papercraft thing.

I’ve had waaaay more than a dollar’s worth of fun with this already. Kudos to halfbrick.

Tons of Labor Day weekend sales kicking off. Check Appshopper.

It is excellent, and a total steal. Kudos, indeed.
