I’ve spent the last couple of hours looking at people’s VidRhythm videos, and that was one of the best. (I also like this guy’s).

This has instantly become my favorite iOS app. I already can’t wait for the inevitable in-app purchase tracks. The idea of a low-cost Kutiman simulator is brilliant.

Edit: Oh, duh. “This guy” is the creative director at Harmonix. No wonder he got so many up so quickly. Kind of takes the homegrown feel out of it, but still a neat app.

I like how you pull his little piggy shadow back to add power/angle to his snot shots.

I’m a little proud of my latest VidRhythm: Movie Time!

Lol vidrythm is so fucking retarded!

I’ve got an email letting me know Grand Prix Story by Kairosoft is out and about. Should check that out.

Oh my god, I’m going to have to try VidRhythm, aren’t I?

Yes you are. It’s well worth the 1.99 just for the stupid factor alone.

My kids are going to go nuts with this.

This is a Kickstarter now. If you are unsure if you want to support it I will Quote from their blurb:

Taking influences from X-Com, Game Dev Story and The Sims, Star Command is a game where you are the creator, captain and crew.

It even has a Red-Shirt supporter level… COME ON! :D The video looks like so much fun.

Looking forward to its release, they plan Beta already for October.

Looking like a $25 shot for me.

Edit: And done.

Kinda surprised they don’t have a rewards tier that includes the game itself.

Impossible to do with iOS given the throttled supply of promotional codes, I guess they could send you a check.

Man, wish I had 1k just to be a character in the game. :)

Zarf did it with Hadean Lands.

It occurred to me after the post that you could also send an iTunes gift card, which is what I’m assuming these guys would do. My point is Apple provides no way to give a specific app to a person aside from the highly limited promo code system.

Nick Chase & the Deadly Diamond is out, the sequel to the excellent Nick Chase: A Detective Story.

You are mistaken. You can gift someone an app from iTunes, just like on Steam or anywhere else. My best friend got her daughter a Touch for her birthday and I sent them Lego Harry Potter.

I pledged $25 as well.

Same here. They are very close now.

$103 away now.
