well – deleting it off my ipod touch, as well as out of my itunes and redownloading it seem to have worked.

Groove Coaster updated with a few more free as well as paid songs. I’m not sure if it’s new but it has a feature that every IOS game witn IAP needs to add. On the store screen there is a button to Restore Purchases, which is great as the app is universal and it takes the gueswork out of are you really buying X again or is it a false message etc.

GTA3 is out and it is 5 bucks. Runs pretty good on my 4 and looks pretty good at that. Well worth 5 bucks.

Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP just dropped to $1.99. Finally bit on it.

App Store shuts down for price changes and updates on Thursday, I believe. So be on the look out for more price drops before then. Usually EA and Gameloft try to cram as many big sales in right before the price drops as possible to get their apps on top ten lists, then cranks 'em back up at the last second so when people get their Christmas iPads and iPhones they see these great games on the top ten and snap them up for full price.

Jetpack Joyride, one of my favorite iOS games, is free today.

Except the new update is buggy as hell and crashes when you try to resume a game. I would highly recommend not buying this or upgrading to this version until they resolve the issues.

I’ve played two complete games since the update and never had a problem resuming. The only problem I had was the cloud save, which worked inconsistently.

It is an exceptionally good game. Really solid mechanics, and just a lot of fun.

Along with a fuckload of other Gameloft and EA games, Gameloft’s latest GTA clone, Gangstar 3, has been reduced to $.99.

I have to admit, I’m a little tempted. Though Gameloft tends to make pretty but of middling quality and highly blatant ripoffs of console games, it’s hard to deny that the idea of a GTA game set in Rio is pretty awesome.

Awesome! Thanks!

Crossposted from the iPad thread because it’s universal: Check Appshopper for iMAME, which somehow slipped past the app police and is available for free. Sure to be yanked soon.

Is there a direct link, because it doesn’t show up on a search?

TouchArcade has a writeup including info on how to load ROMs: http://toucharcade.com/2011/12/21/get-it-before-its-gone-imame-hits-the-app-store/

Been playing around with it, and it works great. I’m tempted to get an iCade for this.

GTA 3 is 2.99… Fuckers.

Anyone play Infinity Blade? What does mastering an item do? Should I switch to a new item once I master one get more xp for it?

Does GTA 3 work on an Ipod? Well?

I went quarter to three last weekend with Game Dev Story, those Kairosoft games are addicting as hell.

As I recall that’s exactly the case, you get no further benefits from using a mastered item.
