The Finest Hours
Yup. But that title is a rather poor description of the actual movie, a rather unexciting rescue tale that takes forever to get going. Chris Pine spends like the entire first hour in that damn building, and then the rest of a movie on a small boat in the dark.
It is fascinating to read about that storm and that rescue. There was not just one stricken tanker, but two(!) stricken tankers.
Uninteresting is definitely the right word. The one takeaway I had was that I think there is more to Chris Pine than meets the eye. He’s capable of more than just being a pretty faced Captain Kirk (as he’s demonstrated since then as well).
