Okay, here’s the 40:40.

Is it cheating if I guessed what movie it was but only knew three of four words in the title and looked up the other? DttB?

Not cheating in my book! Yes, it’s Debra Granik’s debut feature, Down to the Bone. I saw a bit of buzz on QT3 about her incredible film Leave No Trace, starring kiwi actress and soon-to-be-a-big-star Thomasin Harcourt McKenzie, so I was hopeful someone might’ve seen her pre-Winter’s Bone work. I think Vera Farmiga’s never been better than in DttB, as someone’s who’s just exhausted by life. Thanks to Granik’s empathy for her characters, the film never falls into being a tropey “junkies are tedious” territory.

Here’s the 60:60…

… and 80:80

Over to you, crispywebb!

I don’t consider that cheating at all. Hell, the older I get, the less of a title I remember. Worse is struggling with actor/actress names, especially in conversation with all of that together. “You know, Susan whats-her-name, she was in that show, with the guy, he was in a movie, you know who I’m talking about right? What’s her last name?”

The older you get, the more you rely on your significant other to be part of your shared brain so that the two of you can have one whole one between you.

C’mon, @crispywebb…we’re waiting…:)

Ah, so it’s like a RAID configuration for people. Neat. I’ll be sure to consider storage space while seeking a mate.

Hesher?

Edit: And I know it’s not Hesher. Arrgh…this is one of those choices that is going to really bother me and nag at me.

I think my guess is wrong too, but Stanford Prison Experiment?

That looks like Mads, but I can’t place it.

I think it’s William Forsythe, but I have no idea what movie features him sporting long blonde locks.

Not that it really looks like him, but isn’t there a Willem Defoe movie where he has hair like that?

No winners yet, but I like these guesses!

40:40

Well, that is certainly a map that includes Georgia. Though it could be VA as well. Based on the first shot and this it is probably a crime film, involving a manhunt.

Mads? William Forsythe? I thought that was Jonathan Banks with a badass wig.

I think it’s Montana, near Helena actually. But that isn’t helping me narrow down this movie, much. I’m failing to parse a title name without a main actor/actress.

It’s gotta be Montana.

I feel like Clay Pigeons takes place in Montana, so I’ll guess that, even though I don’t think that’s it.

I’ll guess; The Pledge?
