Climbing on @skipper’s back; K-19: The Widowmaker?
You’ve got it, it is indeed the cheapo creature feature Canine Teen: The Widowmaker. I love both submarine movies and Kathryn Bigelow, but this one didn’t really work for me (still miles better than Crimson Tide, mind).

Yeah, I dunno. My favorite movie about Soviet subs is still Hunt for Red October.
It’s been a long time since I saw it, but as soon as I saw the hats, I knew @Navaronegun had it.

That was my next guess. I thought of that after my first one. That’s a Soviet Naval Officer uniform, and the short list were those two more recent movies.
Same here, I share @ChristienMurawski’s obsession with that film, I’ve seen it countless times.
Looks like somebody gets to meet the big boss. The Sicilian Clan maybe?
Well, that was two guesses, the bare minimum, and they were worthy guesses.
The Forty-Forty.
Haha, Tom’s gonna be pissed! Barely three hours between frames!
The rules say “Wait for at least a couple people to guess, or 24 hours”. Is there a protocol for dragging it out (seriously, let me know if there is…).
No hard and fast rule, Tom just famously makes people feel guilty about it if they’re posting more than a frame every 12 hours or so.
Under 4 hours seems a little fast to me, but there’s no exact rule.
Gotcha…slo motion…beginning…

I didn’t know either, no big deal. And what makes it hard is the 12 hour rule often times does not coincide with my day and being able to post later. I don’t like waiting 24 hours though. Especially if your first frame is like … a shot of a wall.
Yeah, I like the idea of after I wake up, and before I go to bed (12ish hours). But I agree, a shot of a wall or the back of someone’s head for 24 hours (or even 12) is pretty interminable. I tried to speed it up a bit (learning my lesson from my first, California Split).
The Roger Maris (61*). I think its gorgeous:
