It was watched as a selection for a regular bad movie night I do with a group of friends and boy did it not disappoint. Unfortunately, none of the frames lined up with Gene Simmons giving his questionable portrayal of transgender(?) rock star/cult leader/terrorist Velvet Von Ragnar.

Hey! @anonymgeist hits the buzzer beater! It is Society. I just watched it on Amazon Prime the other day. Pretty entertaining watch. Loses steam in the second half as it drags on. But it has a cool sort of A Nightmare on Elm Street-meets-David Lynch tone. Great practical effects. Check it out.
I’ve never heard of this movie. Here’s the IMDB synopsis: “An ordinary teenage boy discovers his family is part of a gruesome orgy cult for the social elite.”
Which sounds a little nonsensical until I saw this:
Welp, there you go. It was his first movie, too. And that’s totally Campbell Scott in the 20:20, so I guess it was just an early uncredited role.
