It’s not Carlito’s Way. Mr. Tibbs knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men because that’s Penelope Ann Miller in The Shadow.
Yeah didn’t see your guess until after I struggled with my hunt and peck.
If you’re sure, I feel good. 30s-40s hairstyle too.
If it isn’t The Shadow, I’ll eat my hat. Penelope Ann Miller is pretty unforgettable in that movie. ;)

Please I have a reputation to uphold! I’m no De Palma apologist (though my choice was shot by his regular cameraman Stephen H. Burum) and Dunaccino’s delivered more bad than good of late.
You’re spot on about Ms. Miller and The Shadow, which I am a bit of an apologist for. It was Aussie Russell Mulcahy’s last Hollywood effort following the Highlander II: The Quickening, which is even worse than its name would suggest. I guess The Shadow was made because the studios, desperate to find the next Batman, were searching through old popular 30’s crimefighter characters for something that could be the next blockbuster franchise. The movie’s exaggerated period appropriate production design is to die for as are the heavily stylized in-camera effects. Given the characters association with Orson Welles, it feels appropriate the climax offers a nod to The Lady From Shanghai’s infamous hall of mirrors shootout.

Gigli? I was surprised to learn this career-ender was by the same guy responsible for Midnight Run. Did you pick this just to dunk on Mr. Pacino, Nava? :)
There’s no real write up that can be done for this piece of overpriced garbage-found-in-the-dumpster-of-a-Chinese-Restaurant-at-5AM-on-a-Monday-Morning. Careers and marriages ended. Studios fell. Reputations were exposed.
Lotta name actors (Dunkaccino, the Walken, Bennifer). They all suck.
This thing, though, is so crappy its hilarious and needs some kinda bot treatment. Get drunk and then watch it. You’ll laugh at them, not with them.
BTW, Here’s Dunk.
I mean whattya want from Dunk. He said he didn’t give a s***.
And here’s the Walken!
Here we go. Here’s a Video Clip and Commentary-laden rendition of frames because they are so much fun.
The Forty
Gigli is very kind to the Mentally Disabled
The Sixty
The Eighty
The Happy Thanksgiving Scene!
The Hundred
Gigli believes a Lesbian can be “converted” by finding the right hunka-man.
“What do you @MrTibbs think, that this is little Italy? Wake up! THIS IS THE TWENTY-FUCKIN’-FIRST CENTURY!”

Well, that is basically the plot of Chasing Amy, also with Affleck.
Did you just compare Gigli to Chasing Amy? 🤔
Buckaroo

No, l don’t think l had ever heard of Gigli before. And l actually remember liking Chasing Amy to be honest… l’m just saying that Affleck seems to have this weird obsession of converting lesbians.

That does strike me as a strange kink both projects share, Buckaroo.
It’s always baffling when so much talent agree to move forward with a fundamentally bad script. Maybe there’s a belief or hope that a combination of improv and movie-star charisma will elevate the material on the day. Everyone else went on to better things, but Gigli essentially ended writer-director Martin Brest’s career, which seems a little harsh. :(
Here’s the new 20:20
History of Violence has already been done, but I’m going to guess it anyway!

No bites on the iconic man running into trailer home frame, but this one might give thread watchers something to work with.
