No fair doing films that haven’t even been released here! It’s hard enough as it is.

Well, that’s the red patch faction in Tenet, isn’t it? Although are you posting the frames backwards? I don’t recall seeing that scene that early.

-Tom

Yes, it is, l watched it some days ago. That entire last action sequence made as much sense as a paintball scenario…
Nolan spent way too much time on his gimmick, and clearly not enough on the film as such. That was ridiculous at times.

I’m inverted. And I also watched Tenet.

I win! More by virtue of seeing the frames earlier. Tenet wasn’t going to last very long.

Very clever, Mr. Horde! Very clever!

I shall post new frames later today.

In what movie will you see this at the 20:20 mark?

Sausage Party 2020

Is that The Rhythm Section?

Well, well, look who knows his Blake Lively? Why am I not surprised? :)

I love her so much, which might account for my fondness for Rhythm Section. She’s just so good, so committed, and I don’t get the sense that she does vanity projects. They do her best to make her look all beat up and haggard in Rhythm Section. I really like it as an inversion of all those badass lady assassin movies. In Rhythm Section, she’s simply not very good at the whole badass lady assassin thing. And that’s kind of the point of the movie. She’s not badass, she’s definitely not a lady, and she’s no assassin.

Also, some really good action. Like, far better than the movie actually needs. Also, some really fun stuff with Jude Law as her mentor. I’ve been on a real Jude Law tear lately with Third Day and The Nest.

Okay, everyone buckle up for a whole lotta Lively. The 40:40:

Rhythm Section 4040

The 60:60:

Rhythm Section 6060

Oh, look, it’s Jude Law in the 80:80!

Rhythm Section 8080

And back to Blake Lively for the 100:100, but only her shoulders this time:

Over to @Woolen_Horde!

Blake Lively! The irony is I’m more of a Leighton Meester fan, myself :P

Young & Beautiful (Jeune & Jolie).

She is indeed.

Yes, Young & Beautiful, a 2013 Francois Ozon. The lovely Marine Vacth is a teen who is disappointed by her first sexual encounter, so she decides to become a prostitute. I’ve watched a bunch of Ozon over the years, starting with Swimming Pool. Young & Beautiful is textbook Ozon with its focus on female characters and sexuality. It’s also very French, if you dig what I mean. Nominated for the Palme d’Or.

That seems like an exceedingly male and exceedingly French take.

This Twenty isn’t free candy.

That’s Elf.

“I’ve been to New York thousands of times, @charmtrap.”
“Really?”
“Mm-hmm.”
“What’s it like?”
“Well, there are some things you should know. First off, you see gum on the street, leave it there. It isn’t free candy.”

It’s nice to meet another human who shares my affinity for elf culture.

Those are frames from the movie The Bad Shirt.
