That looks like Karl Urban and Amber Heard. I’m gonna guess, And Soon the Darkness?

-xtien

Yup, a pre-Depp Amber Heard and Karl Urban in And Soon the Darkness. It belongs to that genre of movies that I believe were made specifically to scare young American women from travelling alone overseas. Taken also belongs in that genre.

Last frame, 80:80

We talked a bit about movies like that during the Desierto podcast.

I’ll have a frame up later today.

Not The Invitation.

sixty-one:

-xtien

Is that The Switch?

It is indeed. A winnar is Woolen_Horde!

The eighty-whatever:

You have the conch, @Woolen_Horde!

“Hang on. Did you just use my name as a verb?”

Yay, me! That kid looked familiar.

The nice thing about me is that I’m always ready.

Good luck.

Edge of Winter, starring Joel Kinneman, Spiderman, and a great kid actor named Percy White.

-Tom

No.

40:40

If that was Tom Cruise, I’d say The Last Samurai…but I don’t have a better guess

47 Ronin?

Nope.

60:60

Oh, right, I forgot this was Woolen “Post The Next Frame Every Ten Minutes Because I Don’t Care Whether People Get To Play” Horde, so this one will be over soon. I’m still convinced it’s Edge of Winter with some sort of weird deleted scenes where Tom Holland has a dream about ninjas or something.

-Tom

80:80

No guesses? Last frame.

100:100

What’s the movie where Kate Winslet plays, like, a royal gardiner for some poofy French king’s palace, except the twist is that she’s a chick? I’m guessing it’s that movie!

-Tom

The answer was Silk, the 2007 movie about a French silkworm smuggler who goes to Japan and screws everything up. Beautiful movie, except it’s totally weighed down by the fact that Michael Pitt cannot act.

So, I guess I won. Let’s try this one.
