Seems like a Del Toro movie to me, but not one I have seen. Crimson Peak?
I made a deal with myself that if I thought I accidentally googled an answer, I had to at least watch the movie first. The one time, I never got around to it before someone else figured it out.
In this case, I know not to google Victorian horror movies. DDG’s probably safe though. :(

I think several of us have done that. I know I’ve gotten a PM when someone did, they let me know. I mean it happens. You think, “that’s that movie with so-and-so in … France?” And a google search pulls up the movie but you had the actor or location completely wrong. It happens. None of us have the memories of a savant on here, thankfully.
I don’t know about you guys but I can remember a movie or a scene sometimes in a very detailed memory. But I fail at the movie names quite a bit.
Blimey, this movie is dark.

Good hint, but everyone already knows (I hope) that this is a Brit-flick. Or set in Brit. Or whatever. You know what I mean.
Not The Others.
Certainly on the right track, though.
It looks like a Spanish horror movie to me.
OK, let’s move on. Some good guesses, but this is maybe more obscure than i thought. Here’s an 80, and I’ll give it til morning and declare loserdom:
Alright, time’s up, I lose.
This was an Irish horror movie from 2017 called The Lodgers about a brother and sister trapped with spiirits in a rotting mansion by way of a family curse. Stars Bill Millner and someone named Charlotte Vega. They were alright, but the real star is the atmospheric setting.
New frames soon.

Is it Beautiful Boy? It looks a little reminiscent of when Chalamet and his girlfriend try to score drugs in S.F.
Hot Summer Nights I think was the name of a movie…

I’d like to suggest @charmtrap that you watch something with lights. ;-)
Ba-bing! Hot Summer Nights it is, thank god.
Timothee Chaolmet and the girl from It Follows (she has a name, but I forget it…Malka, I think) as teenagers in a small town in New England somewhere getting mixed up with drug dealers and general nastiness. It didn’t seem to go over well with reviewers and it certainly had it’s flaws, but I kinda liked it.
You’re a smart little fuck, you know that @crispywebb? Too smart for your own fucking good.
“Nights” is right there in title. I guess I knew what I was getting into.
Dark and Blurry is the 2010s “mark” on Cinema.

Because not everything looks the same on every monitor, I thought I would copy what I see to @charmtrap similar to you, Aeneas.
