It's the 20:20 Movie Frame Game of 2019!

Thematically this movie is about as far from The Apostle as you can get. And I think you guys will be surprised at who the actor on the right in the 40 is.

He almost looks like Anthony Edwards, but too much hair.

He is most definitely not Anthony Edwards.

The 60 won’t help much, so here it is. The 80 may save me on this one.

The Pelican Brief?

Savior?

No, not The Pelican Brief or Savior.

I’m going to go ahead and put up the :80, which will make me a winner or loser, since it’s the last frame:

The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert?

Gotta be.

Anonymgeist saves me from a loss!

And the actor in the 40?

hugo3

Hugo Weaving

Over to you, anonymeist!

Wow, that’s a great pick! I recently read that the writer-director Stephen Elliott was began to work on Priscilla’s script during a brief stint in a NZ jail for dealing MDA back in the day!

Given the 80:80, why would you end with a question mark???

That is a great pick. I love that movie, and Hugo Weaving and Guy Pearce are a lot of fun in it, but what’s most striking to me is the amount of gravity Terence Stamp brings to his role. Instead of playing a flamboyant old drag queen having one last hurrah, he is someone with grace, poise, and dignity in the face of grief.

I guess it just feels a bit weird to assume that I’m correct about something.

So I think this might be the new 20:20?

Real Genius?

Nope!

(But damn that’s a great movie.)

40:40

Is that… (squints) Paul Bettany?

An excellent question! Is it?

Transcendence

Haha, you saw Transcendence.
