Mississippi Burning?

Indeed.

“It’s a damn political meeting, Hoover Boy.”
“Oh, it looks like a political meeting, but smells more like Klan to me… with or without the Halloween costumes.”

Over to you, @Gordon_Cameron!

Ok, sorry guys, Grandpa time again:

Odd Man Out?

Not Odd Man Out.

That little window reminds me of The Lavender Hill Mob, so that maybe? The lighting is giving me strong Ealing vibes!

Well spotted! It is indeed The Lavender Hill Mob.

A short film with only 3 frames.

Over to you.

Here’s a new 20:20 for QT3’s weekend cinephiles!

The Spirit of the Beehive.

I was gonna guess Cinema Paradiso but I don’t think that kid wore earrings.

Navaronegun got it! The frames were indeed from Victor Erice’s debut film, which also happens to be my favorite Spanish film ever made, even more than the incredible work of Saura and Admovar. This coming of age story offers a kind of movie magic with an unparalleled sense of time and place.

“Everything in the movies is fake. It’s all a trick. Besides, I’ve seen him alive. He’s a spirit.”

The new Twenty:

Yeah…a lady with a plaid shirt staring…let’s move on, shall we?

The Forty:

Why are there football players in a basketball court? So confused!

Edit: I guess they’re not football players, something about the uniforms gave me that impression

“Every time I call it a game, you call it a business and every time I call it a business, you call it a game @dwinn !”

Uhhh…you there @dwinn?

Hang tight lil’ buddy, I’m going to find the best one ever.

The last movie was too dark. Not this time. 20:20

I’ll be impressed if you can get it from this one.
