Not The Dirt.

I’m going to hold on the 40 as long as possible because it’s -nearly- a giveaway at that point. The 20 frame actually has a great clues.

I know I’ve seen this. That hairstyle and car are very, very. 80s. That is a very upscale perfume brand. And the car is high-end, too. And I don’t think it’s a period film because it’s shot on film.

You’re very hot right now. You’re scalding.

I recognize all that too.

And those sunglasses! They scream 1987 to me.

But I don’t know the movie. Heck I’m trying to decide if it is a woman or a glam rock man (Rocketman was a great guess and I may have guessed the same myself)

You guys are zeroed in on the when and what … but where?

Beverly Hills Cop?

To Live and Die in L.A.?

BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE!

The giveaway 40:

The 60:

The 80:

With the exception of the 40, I was a little worried. By the way, how could this movie never have been picked?

“We’re not gonna fall for a banana in the tailpipe!”

“Before I go, I just want you two to know something, alright? The supercop story… was working. Okay? It was working, and you guys just messed it up.”

This movie was super quotable at the time with one-liners. It’s really too bad that the rest of the series just wasn’t up to par.

Over to you, @Djscman!

As I’ve said many times, there are two Fannings: the pretty one and the talented one. You get the one you get.

My sister and I really loved Beverly Hills Cop II at the time. More goofy Judge Reinhold (now with a weapons fetish!), beautiful sunburnt cinematography (not that I knew what the c-word meant then), a tasteful visit to the Playboy Mansion, and slick Tony Scott direction. But Beverly Hills Cop III… ugh. We were dumb kids, but even we knew that didn’t have the same magic.

Watching Eddie Murphy in the latest season of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, I got the impression that he wanted to get back into comedy, or… anything to kill the boredom that had taken over his life. I wonder if he’d be up for a BHCIV?

Here’s the new 20:20. It’s hard to tell between this and a hole in the ground.

I’ll go with “Them!”

Bram Stoker’s Dracula?

So far, no correct answers. I guess Bram Stoker’s Dracula is closer, but in an oblique way.

Return of the Jedi, rancor pit?

No Jedi here. But here is the 40:40:

Looks kinda witchy, so despite not recognizing that actress I will guess The Craft.

Not The Craft.

Here’s the shiny 60:60:

Dracula Untold?

Damnit, that was what I was going to say.
