Scream 6?

Shouldn’t it be Scr3am? (Pronounced “scrthreeam”)

They saved that for Screfourm:

In a way Scream 3 is the worst one. But in another way it also has Parker Posey and David Puddy, so…

2020:

That looks like something shot in Chile by Sebastian Silva because a) those two balding dudes in the left/center look the kind of actors who would be in a Chilean movie, b) putting candles all over the place in a rocky area seems like something Chileans might do, and c) the blonde on the right could plausibly be Juno Temple? So this is obviously a frame from Magic Magic.

Which you should maybe see if you haven’t.

-Tom

It is not Sebastián Lelio’s Magic Mike. Or Magic Magic. You must have talked about that on the podcast because it was already on my IMDb Watchlist.

I’ll put up the next, more revealing frame in about an hour.

I can’t remember which one (because i’ve seen them like once), but one of the Fast and Furious movies has a beach scene that this reminds me of. So

Fast and Furious 4? Literally picked a number at random

No correct guesses yet.

4040:

Would also be like something a director not from the west coast would imagine a beach party on the west coast to be like.

All About Nina.

You definitely have the actor I think (immediately recognized the face but had a hell of a time remembering the name)

Oddball guess, Oceans 8?

I’ll go with Run All Night, but I’m pretty sure he was clean-shaven in that. You don’t wear that kind of beard when you’re using flaming sticks to battle Liam Neeson.

How could you forget such a common name?

-Tom

There it is.

If the 2020 was a little clearer everyone surely would have recognized Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s B- GREAT ASS from Fargo.

I didn’t think All About Nina was a particularly good movie, but I kinda enjoyed it. It’s from a first time writer/director and it shows. But Winstead is good, and I don’t remember the writing being bad, it just fits together awkwardly. And it’s much better than that Late Night movie, which shares some similarity being about women in the comedy world.

And Common. He’s so weird in this movie. I assume it’s the first time director not knowing how to use him. Or maybe he’s just more suited to a Run All Night type role. But still, he’s fascinating to watch.

The location in the 2020 is LA. Eva Vives, the director, is from Madrid. It’s not a beach though. Some hippie/New Age gathering in the hills.

Over to you, @Woolen_Horde!

Had to be that or Date Night, as almost every other Common movie has Keanu in it!

20:20

The Quiet Ones?

Nope!

40:40

I see I’ve found a soft sport in your collective movie knowledge!

Is that a de-aged Michael Cane? It doesn’t help me one way or the other though.
