I’ll add that she’s from California, and if you are looking for people who have the best shot at solving 21st Century problems, CA’s the place that has the most experience.
I think you underrate what her experience as a DA in a Liberal cityAG Liberal state will bring from the positive side, and are only focussing on the attack items.
Toughness, practicality, etc. She may not be as Liberal as Warren, but she may well have a better shot at actually getting things done than Warren, and bring 21st Century perspectives to the WH. She’s also younger, and working under Brown, probably has a really, really good idea on how to keep budgets a lot cleaner than Warren, especially if we see another economic collapse.
This sort of thing — goading Trump — is good, and will be very good in the general election.
Segregation is a broader problem. Schools are segregated because — to a great extent — neighborhoods remain segregated. Either we pursue policy to address neighborhood segregation, or we break the connection between neighborhoods and schools, or we have segregated schools.
That’s … a hell of an odd backtrack. I suspect this is in the off chance one or the either becomes a viable VP or cabinet candidate, plus it helps pull the plug on “Dems in disarray” bs.
So what were the qualifications for the first debate, anyway, and how did this flaky lady meet them? Is it both a minimum 1% of support in national polls (at large? or distributed across the country?) AND a certain number and amount of contributions?
Is it just a bunch of rich San Francisco/LA ex-hippies funding her? I can’t understand it otherwise.
