Well you went from statement to another. There are differences based on insurance on what services some customers get, including machines, including tests, but it’s not as if you suddenly get treated worse or even get dirty services. It just… there are things that might be done differently based on insurance, but it is not less service.
edit: edited incorrect statement.
I wonder why that is?
If you want to call me a misogynist, then call me a misogynist.
Don’t walk around it.
Bidens campaign is over and Bernie isn’t going to recapture the excitement he created last time.
Warren is the presumptive front runner.

Yeah, misogynist. Your statement is so fucking sexist it is ridiculous watching you try to defend it, but of course you would. Biden’s campaign isn’t over you idiot, try reading and watching something other than Fox News, and you would know that.

He watches RT, not fox so much.

Gosh, Nesrie, I agree with you and all but do you really have to be so shrill about it??
(/s, since I know you’ve said you have a faulty sarcasm detector sometimes. :)).

Not enough. Try to be precise.

I can’t warm up to Biden, because my fear is if he wins, he won’t do the bold, systemic steps needed to prevent a future Trump.
(I have this same worry about Bernie too)
There’s a reason Beto is my 2nd pick behind Warren- Beto is bad on policy, but at least he’s good on doing things like stacking the court- he sees the systemic issues. I’d be fine with Beto as Warren’s VP , or even Biden’s.

Beto is like a dumber version of Pete.
Yeah, I think Pete might be a good guy, and I think he might be more progressive then he lets on.

Heh, well if only it were sometimes. I appreciate the consideration.

I don’t think the courts would find that to be a political statement. Objection to abortion is a core element of their religion.

It’s political because Biden is a politician. Do they deny communion to other parishioners because of their views on abortion?
I don’t know if denying communion is a thing, per se, but I imagine that there might be some repercussion for parishioners who embrace a behavior considered sinful by church doctrine. Although it might only be an issue if said parishioner moves beyond the political realm by actually having an abortion? And it might be worth considering that it does not necessarily follow that what is legal is also moral. However IANACP.*

Apparently yes, to any “public figure.” And this isn’t new. From the article:
The Catholic Church has debated giving Communion to politicians who support abortion rights for decades, and some church leaders have argued that such lawmakers should be excommunicated entirely.
In 2004, some bishops threatened to deny Communion to then-Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts, the Democratic presidential nominee, because of his stance on abortion rights.

Yes, if you made it known that you supported abortion, they may deny you communion.
It just tends to come up with politicians most often, because they are the only ones who often take a strong stance on abortion and make they’re position known to the public.
Kind of stunning, and yet not stunning at the same time:
She’s kind of become the Democratic version of Scott Walker, 2015. And like Walker, she may not even make it to Iowa.

I’ve liked Kamala as a candidate throughout the campaign but IMO she never distinguished herself sufficiently to become front and center for me, and she’s also had some equivocation and minor stumbles on things like health care that make me now consider her a lesser choice. She’s relatively young though and in a position (CA Senator) to gain good experience so she may be a top tier Presidential candidate for me down the road.
In the bigger picture, I back Warren but honestly don’t have much clarity as to who my second choice would be if Warrens stumbles out of the running. Harris maybe, Bernie on policy and yet I’m basically done with Bernie, I used to like Buttigieg but he’s dropped in my opinion in the last month or so.
Hell I don’t know. Maybe I don’t need a second choice to Warren. If Warren doesn’t win, I’ll support whoever the majority primary winner is.
