Like I mentioned in the Steam thread, the game achieved its goal of getting me excited about the shooter genre. Before Jamestown I appreciated the idea but didn’t care about practicing (kind of like fighting games) so I never got into it. The story/charm/atmosphere and the slow difficulty ramp in this game were enough to keep my interest.
I think at least now I’ll go back to a few classics and put some time into them.
