So the Jedi led Galactic Republic would be the de facto peacetime government assailed by remnant Sith/Empire or the Jedi victory fallen into decline (how?) over that period of time?
The same problem I find unbelievable between this trilogy and prequels that everyone forgot about the Jedi in just 30 years… twice.
It would be a lot softer than that. I wouldn’t have Jedi leading anything, just Luke and his school. Heck, I actually like the idea that Luke’s school is razed by one of his students going full dark side. I would probably go heavy grey Jedi. Establishing Rey’s darkside/lightside shifts more. I liked the way Luke died.
