It is a pretty amazing game. ;-)

Doesn’t that mean you have to do it again … :-)

Just did the second mission with the satelite launch. That mission was like the best James Bond/ Michael Bay Action sequence ever. Hell that would have been the last mission in most games. Can’t wait to see what’s next.

I got this last week via GameFly, and just sent it back. Not because it was bad. I’m going to run out and buy it today, because if I don’t, I’d never get another game from GameFly for another few months!

Loving it, and the oft-mentioned OCD is hitting all my little buttons.

Just Cause 2, it’s the game that keeps on giving.

I’ve already played the hell out of it on my pc, and I’m seriously thinking of picking it up for my ps3 just to play it on the tv occasionally.

Such an amazing game just to screw around and do crazy stuff in.

Yeah, I quit playing for a while while finishing up RDR, and then I wasn’t all that compelled to restart it. But then I jumped in to play for a few minutes, and it was hours later that I forced myself to quit. The true open world sandbox makes it so easy to just play with your own goals, which is extremely addictive to me.

This gem is a ridiculous 12.90 at GoGamer now. (PC version).

No, I’m thinking bigger this time…

So very true.

So, I’m in a plane, just cruising around ever so casually when in the distance I see some hot air balloon things. Curious, I check it out and see that this is the Mile High Club which I’ve seen advertised on the back of a few taxis around the place.

After the casino, I was thinking my next little bit of fun would come from the Three Kings. But no, that isn’t ambitious enough. My plan, so long as my sleep addled brain can do it (just came off night shift) is to hijack a Panuan taxi advertising the Mile High club (complete with christmas lights), transport it up to the Mile High Club via helicopter and ultimately see if this party town really is a mile high, by driving the taxi off and freefalling all the way down.

Though I do have a few options as to how this could pan out. If the taxi has enough power (which I doubt) it would be pretty cool to drive over, with the helicopter still attached, then somehow leap out and jump into the helicopter and fly away. Probably not possible.

The other option is to jump out just before impact, then do the worlds fastest, and most glamourous bellyflop into the ocean.

So many options. Some day I might actually progress the story…

Also, I wonder if it is possible to fly a plane under the bridges/overpasses at the Three Kings. They do look awfully narrow, and the approach would be a fairly tough one to pull off, I think. But then, I really don’t know until I try.

Yep. :D

At least go through the Reapers’ missions to hear some great VA…

Do the faction missions ever have an end point? I’ve finished all the Reaper missions available to me and the entire map is carved up now.

Should I expect some final “Thanks for helping us” type cutscene or do the faction missions just dry up?

I kinda wish this game had bullet time. Also don’t drink and drive. I would probably be over the blood alcohol limt and it certainly affects reflexes on the motorbikes. I think I need a moped.

There’s a plane race where you have to do exactly that, IIRC.

Thanks to this thread, I gave into the pull to play Just Cause 2 again.

AND I CANNOT FIND MY DISC.

This is the worst thing that has ever happened.

OMG! My heart bleets for you, Matt, in all seriousness, for that is just awful. :(

CONSOLE GAMING IS DOMED!

Srsly though, our prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Dude, you’re in the middle of a move. Worst time to be looking for anything of any kind, isn’t it?

Still, I guess you learned to keep all your games in one box… by your bed…

My life is a war.

Well, it turns out you can’t hurt red objects by grappling them to elevators. The grapple cable makes noises as the elevator climbs and descends, but nothing else happens.

I love this research and await the next discovery.
