In fact, the kickstarter was to ensure a PC release (among others). iOS and Android versions were always a given, regardless of how the kickstarter campaign fared.
Might want to change passwords. The Kickstarter website was hacked.
It was great to see Black Lab funded so quickly. Between “Ten Million Years”, “Gates of the Country” and “Anything” on their first album was enough to hook me as a fan for life.
Yeah, I hope it doesn’t affect ongoing kickstarters (obviously).

This is a bit pricey, but quite awesome. The Game Frame.
Jeremy Williams, former PC Gamer and Maximum PC podcast editor has created a pixel art project that lets you cycle through and display any 8-bit pixel art on a 16x16 large pixel display.

It’s $150 for the DIY kit, or $250 built w/ shipping within the US.
He’s already quadruple-funded his original $15k USD goal with 20 days to go.
Just noticed this, looks great! And just a couple of days left for the KS bids (which have made it fine), so some more infos:
And an RPS article here:
Good job Razgon.
Galactic Princess that i mentioned in one of the Indy threads, has gone Kickstarter:
Awesome music in the intro vid, and here is the main web page for more info:

The Vibe is strong with this one.
Savage: The Shard of Gosen, is in it’s last few days of it’s Kickstarter, if you fancy some Conan (Robert E.Howard) inspired pixel platform action-adventure.
I found out about it from an interview with it’s creator over at gamasutra:

So does anyone know when we’ll get our Steam Keys for Seven Days To Die?
Edit: NM, guess I didnt pay for Alpha / Beta
You’re in the same position i’m in. This looks like a game that will be in “beta” for years.
Just a quick note to say we have released an alpha for Heart&Slash, in case somebody is keen to try it out and give some feedback (it’s really early, though)…

Dominance:
4x Civ type game based on time rather than turns
This is such a bad idea. There’s a reason why games like this don’t use a realistic time scale for all actions. Tactical actions (movement, combat) take place on a far shorter time scale in the real world than research. The original Railroad Tycoon abandoned the concept of slavishly sticking to “realistic” time schedules which was the order of the day until then. It was a proof-of-concept that was revolutionary at the time. It’s not an advance which should give up.
