Knightmare and Ico

Anmyone ever noticed a similarity? I think this is cool. I might have made a thread on this before. If so, sorry.

Knightmare was a virtual reality game show on British kids TV in the 1980s and early 90s. One player was “in the game” wearing a big horned helmet so they couldn’t see the green-screen world around him. The rest of the team was in the dungeon-like studio, telling the player what to do, seeing him in the computer-generated gameworld. The gameworld was basically a giant decrepit castle and the creepy countryside around it.

Ico is one of the best games, or at least one of the best stories pretending to be a game, to grace the PS2. It will be in my collection forever, treasured as much as any good book.

Take three sidesteps to the left, Ico!

EDIT: image links fixed

I remember the hotlinking boss in Ico. Man that was a bitch.

OK so the hotlinks are fixed. I was an evil hotlinker! Courtesy of my own webspace, now you can see why I think the Ico people must have been fans of that old show.
