What the hell??? No posts in a while!!!

We only post here to troll.

Here is a fiddlesticks guide for you (thanks Inigma).

I’ll post that the damn server is down and they’re trying to pull it up… but who knows how it’s going :(

Sitting here trying to work in Germany and you guys aren’t entertaining me enough today. How can I pretend to work with no LoL smack talk? DANCE, MONKEY, DANCE!

You know what makes jungle Nunu hard? Never having a jungler on the enemy team! This means I can never counter-jungle (I’ve done it once with Calistas against a Xin and it went hilariously well, until late game when he turned carrymode on) and half the time my top lane is fiddle vs garen + jarvan or something stupid.

It’s the one problem with Nunu, he is actually quite weak if he is unable to counter jungle :(

So I just started playing this game. I was kinda disappointed to learn that there are only NA and EU servers so I’m stuck at ~250ms latency but I still wanna give it a try. Do you guys have any recommendations for a complete noob (I also never played DotA which is similar to LoL from what I heard)? Maybe some recommended champions or builds to use or just some general tips. I read the guides on the official site but I’m fairly sure they’re not enough to really understand the game.

Morde es #1

That’s kind of a meme in the game. The champion Mordekaiser is apparently extremely popular among your countrymen.

And is that a good thing? :). I’ve been told already that for some reason brazilians aren’t exactly liked by most LoL players.

Yes, but LoL players are all gigantic racists anyway. ALL OF THEM.

I don’t know of any good videos that show you the absolute basics of the game - laning, pushing waves, last hitting, etc. It’s just something you pick up via osmosis and reading/watching guides from places like http://www.solomid.net

Well, I’ve had quite a few Brazilian players join a game, speak only to each other in Portuguese and then, if you’re losing, blame you with it and drop, or if you’re winning, talk a lot of shit to the other team.

I mean, I’m not saying this doesn’t happen everywhere with every race, but it does happen a lot.

If you speak with your team in a universal language and don’t ragequit, you’ll be totally cool.

in other words: it’s easier to pick out the jerks from another country because they usually dont speak you’re language ;)

I always considered myself a polite player so I don’t think I’ll have many problems in this regard, even though my latency might be a problem if I’m playing on a team. Anyway, if I realize that the lag makes me more of a burden then I’ll just stop playing the game.

I find this behavior that you mentioned quite interesting. It’s probably related to the fact that many people started having internet access in the past few years because of the growth of our economy and some of these people might not know english very well. Or maybe they’re just dicks on purpose, who knows!

@JM: Thanks for the link! I’ll take a look at the tutorials.

So I played half a dozen games as jungle Nocture this weekend and won every single game. This leads me to believe one of the following:

  1. Having two solo lanes gives your team a huge advantage.
  2. I am such a liability in lane that not having me in lane = win.
  3. I am actually good at jungling and ganking.

I tend to believe it is either 1 or 2.

Feel free to add me to friends (Vonnegut) and when I get back to the states I’d be happy to play some!

Good thing most of you Americans don’t play in Europe or your mind would be BLOWN!

Is there a way to turn off map pings?

True or having a Russian on your team and one on the other team, they mostly spend half the game talking to each other while afking in base and after the chitchat they start blaming everyone for being noobs after they die as lvl 3 vs a lvl 14

/ignore the player doing it or /ignore team
