I’m aware of no reason that a particular nationality would be a worse player than anyone else, although language barrier can occasionally be a bother. But everyone who plays DotAlikes likes to blame everyone but themselves for a loss, and like Jason said, it’s easier to scapegoat someone who obviously speaks a different language (look at inkai doing it above! It’s cool if it’s not Brazil, right?). If you speak English – yours seems good – everyone will be cool. HAHAHAHAHA who am I kidding, they’ll still be assholes, but it won’t be because of your nationality.
As for high ping, it sucks, but you can overcome it. I have a buddy from NZ who plays, and while he’s not Fnatic, he plays on a reasonably competitive team.
So they’ve finally made a monkey king champ, I know they announced it a couple months ago, but it’s something I’ve expected from the beginning because it seems such a easy/perfect fit for the game. Have they announced what his skills are going to be? I’d imagine his cloud will be a flash and his staff will be a ss that extend out in a straight line, what do you guys think they’ll do for his skills?

So I finally remembered my username/password for my EU account this weekend. Logged in. In my second game every playing on EU I go up against a team of 4 guys whose user accounts all start with GW.
And then the Rammus on my team rage quits.
I think I finished like 12/6/14 or something with Garen, but his lane pushing ability is too terrible to win games single handedly.
I then proceeded to play a game as Master Yi. Told me team “don’t worry I got this”. To which one of them responds “Watch you give up first blood.”
Which of course I did. I started 0/3 and finished something like 19/4. And yes I built Warmogs/Atmas Yi. And yes it was hilarious. And yes I had a sweet triple kill. And no I don’t feel bad about any of this because I am a bad person and I should feel bad.

Dammit, I knew this would come up.
Played my first PvP match this weekend and it was fantastic. We had the enemy back on thier heels at thier base. I rolled in a sivir and while the battle raged between the other champoins I was able to slide in and use my ultra with a sea of those little squirts around me. They all went ape-shit and tore down the last thingy in seconds. :) So satisfying!
I got my first quadra today as twitch. Mundo avoided me and ran back to the tower, and I couldn’t dive him without Leona. I got the ace, but not the Penta. Sad Panda!
And I would like to mention that double Twitch mid is a very viable strat at my ELO. Anivia stayed mid the whole time. She baited ashe away from tower before creeps got there. I got first blood. When ashe came back from the pool I was there again, since she burned flash last time I knew we could get her again.
Then Jax came mid so me and anivia killed him once. I don’t know if I like the ‘pro’ Dorans x2, Boots, BFS to IE thing though. Though I suppose in this match it worked fine, I just feel like it leaves me much weaker around minute 16-25 when I am just getting IE, but have very little else.

I’ve actually seen the “Lol, double mid” work really well the few times it’s happened. Just killing and denying the hell out of whoever important they sent mid throws them off.
Wingrow, you probably want to get more AS on Twitch before the Infinity Edge because of the nature of his passive. I’d still go 2xDorans but would probably get a quick wits end or something with AS before my IE (after Zerkers). You desperately need AS on Twitch, he’s very different to other AD carries.

The US Servers just shat themselves.
I’ve tried to join two games now where there were 7 random champion selections before people really loaded into the champ select screen. Both were dodges.

I think it’s a good sign when there’s a new champ rotation and I know most of the heroes already. Hurray! :)

Just remember, if you see an enemy rumble, you want to get as close as you can to him. Trust me.
