I don’t want to try to rush a particular ELO and I’m not particularly concerned about getting my ELO up for a reward, but I am curious - can you just not see your ELO until level 30? I have no idea what mine is, and do not recall seeing it on any screens.

It’s a ranked game only thing. Normal games have one too but it’s a hidden stat.

Getting someone to 0 is still great for your damage, so don’t worry about it too much.

That’s a little sadface, but I guess that Mark is okay anyway.

Silver is 1500, I believe bronze is 1300. Gold…I want to say 2k, but it might be 17 or 18. Platinum is certainly well over 2k, as Chiffy is 2k, and he has gold.

Also, anyone have advice on better Irelia builds? I keep going TF -> Atmog’s, but I’m pretty sure that’s not ideal. Although it’s worked alright so far.

Don’t go Atmogs, you don’t need it and it’s way to much farm. But you are right in prioritizing TF it’s usually the only damage you need. I’ll ping you when I get back from being away (maybe Friday).

How do you have 4 DCs and the jungler still dies to blue? Unless you’re the jungler, shouldn’t you be the only one online? :)

It’s game 4, one dc’s the other dies to blue. His previous three games were all loses. :P

Yeah another cluster. 0/13/3 Rammus and a Rumble that missed half the game. Man, I would have retired at 1250, fuck my luck at having 1249. Don’t have that problem any more though, down to 1204…hooray?

Pick Jarvan, win games.

I’m not kidding, though it doesn’t happen to be Jarvan. Find a champion you’re good at–ideally a bruiser, as that way you can carry while laughing at the enemy’s feeble attempts to kill you–and go play that champion. If it’s the proper champion, and you’re actually good with him/her/it, you’ll be able to wtfpwn your lane far more often than not, and wtfpwning your lane goes a long way to winning the game. When I started playing Jarvan, I had maybe 20 more wins than losses. He took me up to 100 more wins than losses, with ease. Yes, even post-nerfs.

Umm…I don’t think that matters when it’s a 4v5 and your jungler is getting ganked nonstop, is super underleveled, and refuses to switch to lane even though bottom is a strong 2v1.

Lookin through that replay, I see so many situations where I should have extended for a kill… though the replay doesn’t show my health most the time so.

But yeah that team split up, they knew where we were at baron, and Kass ulted in behind me to silence like everyone, but missed. You lit up like 3 people and I slaughtered Kass with Ez. After that it was a blur of ulting to people that just seemed to magically disappear after one combo, and flash/ult to the escaping Jax.

I was the sacrificial annie, but fuck if I didn’t blow my full load on 3 (2 squishies) HARD before I died.

You know, looking back on it… we could have lost that fight HARD if Taric had just used a CV. He was using it all game, and at that most crucial of moments he didn’t use it. That’s very strange, because while I think they knew that someone was in the bush you were in, Kassadin didn’t know that he was using his ult to jump right into me and Ez (or whoever was with me).

If he’s new to ranked it’s easy. I have 13 ranked solo queue games and am 1525 elo. My past four games I’ve gained 50 elo per win. If I can gain 50, he can lose 50.
