My God, killing mans with Lux’s ult is an amazing feeling. I think it actually releases endorphins into my brain.

It’s one of the most visceral kills in the game. Cho’Gath’s Feast makes me feel the same way, except you can’t use it on multiple people at the same time. They did a great job with her voice and the sound effects of the laser.

Agreed, especially as compared to Annie’s spells, of which only one has anywhere near the “oomph” factor of all four of Lux’s spells.

Had a fun game with Heim last night. One of those where we lost the battles, survived a couple of surrender votes, but won the war (think we all had negative kill ratios)

I was rotating between base def & split pushing once we got to end game. With rylais, you can split push with reasonable confidence, takes at least 2 or 3 to gank you, and you normally know when there are 2-3 on the way… On def, he’s a rock, especially when tower hugging

I never noticed it until idrisz said so, but his passive actually heals towers.

Fun game with Heim last night - we survived couple of surrender votes at c25 minutes, won at 45, and all had negative k/d ratios.

In end game Heim is a rock on defence, and can split push ok (rylais mean safety, unless at least 2, maybe 3 come for you) Team fights - meh, unless on your own ground.

I like him, as you need to think tactically about how best to add value to the team. E.g. I was very aggressive in laning phase as was facing a GP mid, so reducing his farm was worth risking over extending. First blood was a bonus!

Yep, it isn’t an amazing passive, but better than nothing. I’m now usually taking flash or ghost and teleport, as ability to jump and save a tower is useful

Ghost+Teleport is bad. Flash + Ghost or Flash + TP is good.

Flash should be taken universally. I hate that it’s this way, but right now Flash is the only defense (and offense) against someone else’s Flash.

I usually can’t justify taking two escape spells when I could be taking something my team needs, like Exhaust or Ignite or even Clairvoyance. I take Flash on almost everyone, but in rare cases I take Ghost if I’m playing someone who needs to stick to people for a bit and lacks a built-in mechanism for doing so.

Man, you know why Garen/Taric is fun?

Because against semi-competent players, we can go from being 3 kills behind (because I fucked up and gave them two kills at level 1 after they ganked our jungler for FB) to being ahead enough that they lane-swapped.

As Lee Sin / Kennen.

Also, mxlm has as yet failed to play a single game as GARIC with the right runepage + masteries. Seriously dude, it’s not like I didn’t buy T3 runes just for you, oh wait, never mind, I still don’t have mp5 runes.

Has anyone else tried Nasus as a jungler since the last patch?

I just gave it a go with standard cloth armor 5x health pots and starting at blue. That’s definitely not the best starting path for him at all.

Not really sure I like him as a jungler, I felt kind of useless even once I got farmed, but I’ve always felt that way about Nasus.

I don’t really see why you would bother now if you wouldn’t before. I mean, the only substantial change for early game is 4% more lifesteal, right? Sitting around farming his Q in lane is easier than in the jungle and he’s a lategame murderface hero based on the strength of his Siphoning Strike farming.

TotalBiscuit playing a Dominion match. Actually the first full match footage available, I think? He ends up quite liking it.

I just started playing a few days ago, just beginner level co-op and I am almost level 10. When is a good time to try 5v5 pvp? I’m pretty good with Tristana so that is who I play most of the time.

As soon as you are ready to face the worst of the internet.

You should be ready, but your first few games may be rough. Look us up in game and on mumble and we’ll try to help. :)

p.s. Do not buy tier 2 runes.

Though it looks like it’s not a Dominion game, bah.

I’m going to disagree for Heimer. Much of what Heimer does is bait and movement oriented around a fixed area, or in a long chase - so I tend to feel Ghost is a better choice for Heimer than flash.

This assumes that you are beefy enough to survive a bit of focus (a la Rylai’s), which is what I would recommend.

In other words, when I play Heimer, I find myself more often than not moving while waiting for timers to reload, and ghost is better in this situation than a one shot Flash.

I can’t help but wonder if the upcoming sustain nerfs are solely because the healing meta is too powerful in Dominion games, where the action seems to be much faster.

Don’t be ridiculous, these are merely the dregs of the internet. The worst are over there in HoN.

Flash is retarded and should be removed from the game. You can tell it is retarded because the main argument for everyone taking flash is so that you can negate someone else’s flash.
