If I were going to take one duo it’d be Jarvan, yeah, as his combo + slow is fantastic for setting up kills and/or getting them yourself. Irelia…well, if it works for you, keep doing it, but IME she’s worthless without both solo farm and xp.

I finally got the email and the code.
I will try your approach. TBH, it seems to make little difference at my elo. I can do perfectly fine in my lane, win it even, and my teammates can lose the rest of the game for us as often as they may help win it. Very random.

Just had a game where our Singed went jungle and our Soraka went Rylai’s. After a rough early game (Sion got rolled by Renekton, Fiddle lost to Rammus/Annie), we facerolled them (I was 13/1/9 Ashe, our Fiddle was 12/7/14). Kinda unexpected, but I very much appreciated my team’s ability to tie them up, combined with their team’s unwillingness to focus me.
I think Soraka is meant to get Rylai’s post-rework.
There must be 2 dozen of us that want codes :(

Would love a Sivir skin if you have extra.
We played 3 theme based games last night and managed to win 2 of them.
We did an all assassins team (noct, akali, talon, kat, leblank), which was close but we lost. Then we did an all Yordel team (veigar, teemo, amumu, rumble, and trist) and did much much better. They had a DC for part of it but I don’t think it would have made much of a difference. Finally we did a team of all characters with some sort of knock up (wukong, malphite, janna, blitz, and oriana) and won that one as well.
I was goofing around a bit in a game playing a Starfall spamming Soraka and I have to say it seems really powerful early game. Not sure it holds up later though.
Soraka’s starfall is VERY powerful. I laned against a soraka mid as morgana, and that girl can lay out the DEEPS (you need to get a jungle gank early as she pushes the lane and can be gotten to low health since they don’t take heal.) Later in the game people neglected the fact that she had gotten decent farm mid, and worse that she was running ignite. That soraka was tower diving like a pro by jumping into the tower, taking a hit or two, healing to get the armor buff, then dropping starcalls, auto attacks, infuses, and ignites on some poor bastard.
She ultimately went 10/4/XX, while I went 4/0/xxx (and my team fed like BOSSES.)
