You should have given me the nasus skin :(

nope, I’m gonna trade this POS skin for sivir skin. you can go buy this skin on lol for 10 dollars.

I play range, mainly Trist, any tips on facing Fiddlesticks. He is the only person I just can’t handle. I’m dead from his aoe before the rocketjump animation is even over.

Buy magic resistance and avoid getting into his ult in the first place, generally he is always going to be waiting on the other side of a wall for a fight to start to ult in.

if you’re playing an AD champ like trist and having trouble with a mage getting the better of you, buy hexdrinker, for AD, magic res, and the anti magic shield.

I never got my Razer Quints :(

I did get a couple of Nasus and Sivir skin codes from my brother though. Riot Sivir is a sweet skin for a champ that I will never play.

I play Sivir as my main AD carry. Is she really that bad? I’ve played Corkii before (before the nerf) and I like him well enough, but there’s something about Sivir that I really like/clicks with me.

She is reputed to be very bad. Evidently she has poor range, needs to be fed a lot, and lacks an escape or way to CC. Also, her throw thing is easy to dodge.

This is me. Except my ping is low. Turns out Comrade MacBook does not like LoL.

Well, bear in mind that she’s out of favor in the meta, but that means very little to you and I. That said, she’s a steroid based AD carry. The Steroid based carries tend to be inferior for a couple of reasons, I think, to the Urgot/Cait/Corki/Ashe champs (well, Corki used to be, dunno about any more).

Steroid skills work best when the user gets to focus on a single target. The problem is you frequently aren’t in a position to sit still in a team fight, let alone focus a single target. Steroids still make for some good pushing (or great, in Sivir’s case). Trist, Sivir, and MF don’t have any CC (MF’s E barely counts, Trist’s Rocket Jump barely count). Trist and MF at least have healing inhibition, which is something. Sivir doesn’t even get that.

Sivir has mana problems relative to other AD carries. Spell shield is great but a smart opponent will harass around it, and even bait you into using it, thus depriving you of it’s mana generation component (and putting a serious dent in your mana pool). Getting better mana regen means trading off other potential benefits. Q costs quite a bit of mana. At level 2 you have 246 base mana but level 1 Q costs 80 mana.

Like MF, Sivir suffers for having a significant portion of her damage be magic damage. They aren’t the only champs that work like that. But this is different than say Vayne’s W. Vayne’s W is a passive, scales-with-target-max-hp boost to her damage. That’s really very different from having your spammable skill shot be magic damage. Also, Sivir’s Q got nerfed. It used to lose 10% damage per target but have a damage floor of 70%. Meaning you could hit every creep in both lines and still take a significant bite out of the enemy summoner.

Also, Ricochet pushes like a motherfucker, which you frequently don’t want to do, but you can’t enjoy the benefits of Ricochet without pushing like a motherfucker for the most part.

She’s still fun to play IMO. There are carries that are better, but again that’s mostly a concern at a level you and I aren’t at.

Sivir was the best carry for period of time until they hit her with nerfs. The nicest thing about playing Sivir is that come team fight time, even if you are on the wrong target you likely are still doing damage to the right one.

Hmmmm. So how does Corki fare post-nerf? Is he still considered one of the better/most viable AD carries?

(Also, that got me thinking, the only carries I own are all AD. Are there even characters who are technically labeled as AP carries? I know there are mages like Annie that get quite powerful, but I’m not sure I’ve seen an AP character with the official ā€œcarryā€ label. Maybe I just haven’t looked hard enough.)

They label carry to the ones that can auto attack the enemy champions to death.

Rammus is a carry as far as being a tank is concerned. Weak early game(terrible health) but near immortal in the endgame.

I’m gonna start a fight, jajajajajajajjajajaja:

As already stated, her damage base is wonky, she has no escape or CC.

For low level solo queue she’s probably still okay because she is one of the best pushers in the game, but the better the players you go against the worse she kind of is.

I wonder with her new skin Riot will consider giving her a buff or rework. Her whole skill set just doesn’t fit in with the current landscape.

it’s kind of funny to run over cait/nid traps with your spell shield. they are like little mana potions lying on the ground for her.

The No Doubt spoof had a better singer, but that’s a lot of fun.

It’s funny until you need to shield yourself but can’t. Because it’s on cooldown. Because you wanted mana.

To call Rammus a carry is to render the term ā€œcarryā€ meaningless. Rammus is not a carry.
