Sweat and hard work - like me. Now where is a tiny violin to play me off.

Games can easily flip over during the first teamfight. Hell, at the 30 minute mark most people donât realize that turrets do shit damage to champions and that they are completely worthless to prevent towerdiving. At that point, any auto attack champions also have enough damage to tear down a turret in 10 seconds, turning an aced teamfight into a nearly surefire victory during the 40 seconds that the enemy team is dead.
Of course, just as often, people abuse that advantage by staying too long and the enemy team comes out of their fountain and mops up the 3 stragglers, leaving only 2 people to defend a counter push.
Just had a very strange game, where my team dicked around 90% of the time trying to outmaneouver the other team (which had Sona for movement speed and Lee Sin to blink around everywhere). Then when they finally started following up when I initiated as Karthus (because nobody else was), we stomped them ⌠until our Yi got caught twice in a row, we got 4 down, they pushed 5 turrets and 2 inhibitors, got Dragon, and then came back in for the teamfight.
We 5v5âd them in our base and killed them all, with me getting the mop up kills. It went something like this: All five of them in my wall + AoE + bomblets, I pop Zhonyaâs, they kill our Yi, kill me, I keep AoEing them, then I drop.
All good, right, all done, no more DPS left alive? Not quite! Revive, run back in with super speed, take the two left down to a sliver before I die, then finish off the last two with my ult.
It was kind of hilarious, and my team was like âWow, Karthus, finally something usefulâ.
Moral of the story: If you are playing Karthus and you suck, you might get the chance to look like a total badass in an epic teamfight.
Hmmm, wait, that doesnât sound rightâŚ

You took revive in a serious game?
How serious is any non-ranked game when youâre under level 30 and playing Karthus for the second time ever?
And yes, I took Revive/Teleport, because I wanted to see if it was hilarious enough to warrant not taking Ignite/Flash. Answer: Yes. It is hilarious enough.
In a non-ranked solo queue game.

In LoL, when they arenât part of my premade, people dicking around ingame annoy me.
I had excellent farm, put out more damage to Champions over the course of the game than anyone else on my team, consistently used my ult to hit all five Champions without KSâing, warded more than everyone else on my team combinedâŚ
Dicking around indeed.

Youâre awake, and youâre online. But youâre not in steam or in game. Jerk.
I hadnât realized just how fucking awesome level 1 ganks are. Our whole team took their wraiths, then lee took their golems and came top. Their perfectly competent Garen died, and when he got back to lane I was three going on four. By the time I took the tower Iâd killed him another three times. Which is not what would have happened without a gank, as Garen is perfectly capable of making Ireliaâs life hell; silence, spin, win.
Iâm also becoming very fond of going wriggleâs prior to TF if Iâm against a scary bruiser, as this makes me more survivable and more sustainable. And, yes, gives a decent bit of damage.
Karma is fine if you realize that she isnât actually a support character but a tanky AP DPS that happens to have some utitlity skills. Most people donât realize this though making her one of, if not the least played champ of the entire lineup.
Agreed, I have seen Karma put out scary DPS from quite early, but I donât know her and donât know how.
Speaking of which, a Ryze kept eating me as Alistar last night. I have tried him and he didnât click with me but I am tempted to try again!
If heâs just starting, by the time he gets any good thereâs a decent chance the terrible champ will have been over-buffed somewhere along the line.
I was on autopilot for a bit until my girlfriend got back from Rocky Horror, then I went to sleep. :)
Gooooood morning, though!

As said upthread, Karma isnât really a Janna/Sona/Soraka. Thereâs better champions, but pure support Karma is a waste. And Udyr is still amazing. Cassiopeia also doesnât belong grouped with Corki or Caitlyn.
Itâs also worth noting that many of the people who are currently poor picks have been unbelievably strong in the past and may be so again. Riotâs balance touch isnât what youâd call light.
Definitely a good point that âbadâ characters are frequently just inferior to other options in that role.
Is it just me or is the meta (EU West) moving more and more towards tankiness? I remember when getting a warmogs was frowned upon unless you were the tank but now I see atmog builds everywhere. Teamfights that end in 10 seconds are also becoming increasingly rare, instead turning into protracted affairs with people picking at each others health for a whole minute.

True true, but one good initiation and taking one or 2 members is often enough to turn it into a retreat for the other team.

Time for a dumb question - where do you actually find your ranked ELO? I donât see it in the game client, and I also canât seem to even find myself on the ladders on the Riot website.
Shows up in your profile after a few ranked matches.
Or because none of the High Elo players like them, until one of them loses against one and screams OP in the forums (even tho it has been âbadâ for months and riot didnt buff it) and proceeds to start playing them and everyone then starts playing it and calling it OP.
Then riot nerfs it.
Except for Evelynn. Whoâs just bad.
