I honestly find her in-game art to be execrable. If I had turned that in to my drawing teacher I am sure he’d have had a good twenty minutes of explaining why it is terrible piece of art, including reasons I haven’t even thought of. The old art is, as we’ve all said hundreds of times, totally out of proportion, but it at least has an awesome style. I am convinced that anyone claiming to prefer the new one is just trying to score some sort of points for decrying oversized chests in fantasy art.

She’s a martial artist badass. She shouldn’t be looking like Oriental Combat-Themed Harem-Ornament Barbie. Maybe it’s because working in theater made me actually look at outfits, makeup, and such with a critical eye, but so much about her original concept art just screams “Shoot the artist and ask questions later”.

I just think it’s weird that when every other female in LoL is clearly wearing makeup, including new Irelia, you single out old Irelia for having weird makeup. I also don’t know how you can look at new Irelia with a critical eye and think that’s NOT a terrible outfit. Old Irelia was wearing crazy ornate platemail, new Irelia honestly really does makes me think of Power Rangers.

Fiddle is nigh impossible to do blue with at level 1 without runes unless you get a significant amount of help (not just a leash, but actual DPS). Amumu and Nunu, same deal. Nunu though can go wolves -> wraiths (smite) -> small golems; Fiddle will run out of mana if he tries, and Amumu is worthless early-level jungling without blue.

Ask your team during the pick phase if they’ll help you blue with at least a few autoattacks; if they say do, you should be golden.

The best fiddle paths actually start at mini-golems and go through to Blue, because of how common invasions are. You don’t run out of mana before Blue if you are sensible, google some youtube vids on it.

Amumu can jungle fine without starting at Blue, you just need to plan on it before hand. Nunu can definitely still start at Blue, even after the nerfs he’s super easy to jungle.

How has there been two pages of discussion on the art of female champs without anyone complaining about Morgana’s portrait rework? It’s so God damn terrible I don’t even want to play her any more :(

Although based on my last hilariously awful attempt to drunkenly solo mid with her, that may not be a bad thing.

I have runes for Morgana that are nearly all AP that seem to do pretty well(.95 mpen, .81 mp/5, 49 ap at 18, 16 flat AP). Her W provides more mpen. She’s a very easy solo mid with that setup because by level 5 your W will kill any regular minions by itself, and your Q-W combo will do half damage on most players. If you’ve done much harass at all flashing in, ulting, snaring, W’ing usually gets a kill. I use 9/21/0 mastery on her which gives her great survival and pairs well with her innate spellvamp sustain. I like her against notoriously strong mid AP characters like brand or orianna since she can farm and harass easily and shrug off most opposing harass through spell vamp and staying at range…

Also I prefer the blade mistress skin…

Or in my case, when three games in a row your team “leader” has used his bans on Morde and Kat.

I’m only kidding, I haven’t completely tanked my ELO, the problem is that I’m at the start ELO, having only played five ranked games and having gone 2-3. (But hey, two out of the three losses were almost solely due to having a teammate go AFK for the whole game.)

Because while the art is awesome the in-game skin doesn’t live up to it at all. Also, note that you’ve posted the Chinese art which, in this rare instance, is markedly inferior.
