It gives a fair boost to health and mana regen above and beyond the philostone’s, so it’s a pretty solid lane item in a CC heavy lane where you have a reason to need other boots, some tenacity, and a lot of sustain.

And when Leona first game out I had pretty decent success running her tanky DPS with triforce. I think she can be solid either way.

Yeah, most of the characters I don’t get Merc Treads on are the ones where I just don’t even care about tenacity because if you get hit by anything you die before the reduction would help.

Leona’s skills all scale on AP, do low damage to start with, have bad scaling, and she has a slow attack speed with lower end damage. She’s designed as a pure tank and building for damage just isn’t very effective. You should probably be getting a Frozen Mallet on her anyways as a cc bot, so that part of Triforce is kind of wasted too. Because of having low damage she is pretty bad at farming, so leaving off building tank items to get the most expensive item in the game isn’t something I ever seriously considered.

I still think you were all crazy for thinking 25 vs 35 tenacity was a big deal. It was a 10% difference! That’s 0.3s slower for a 3sec stun! I bet they changed the numbers just so everyone would get over this mental block.

Haha, I just played a bot game with a friend for giggles. 8/1/37 Annie (she was Gangplank, it’s hard to snipe kills from 'Plank even as Annie :(). Pubbie Amumu charged into pants-on-head retarded situations several times and died, so of course he blamed me and called me bad. I baited him into dropping offensive slurs (in a bot game he got this mad, remember) and reported him. All in a day’s work.

Are any of you in the Aus/NZ time zone (chequers is, of course)? I really need more sparing buddies to do some practice mid games and to team up with in ranked games. It is lonely playing on my own and I don’t get much chance to be stretched the way I am when paired with better players like the vocal people here (who are rarely around when I am playing).
