If this one really brings Dominion into play, I can imagine that it could be a clusterfuck of epic proportions. If not because of the patching itself, then because of the gigantic number of people who will be gagging for it trying to get on the servers.

Not to be all off-topic and whatnot, but that’s a really shitty wallpaper. First of all, there are jpeg artifacts all over it. Second, the point of focus is the awesome sun from mario 3 except it’s upsized with a blurry scaling routine which looks like shit and doesn’t match anything else on the image.

On-topic: I bought katarina last night. I like talon too, but it’s a pain having to worry about mana. I guess I’ll try and use her for a while. I tried to spend my extra points on some runes, but I can only buy lesser ones (presumably due to my summoner level). That seems like a waste at this point. I should just save for when I can buy the better ones?

Only buy tier 1 or tier 3 runes. the tier 1’s don’t do much, but are so cheap that it’s not a big deal. The tier 2’s don’t do enough over tier 1’s to justify their cost. tier 3’s can be pricy but they are end game stuff so you won’t replace them.

So my Elo actually went up! I went from 1040ish to 1186 thanks to the reset.

Which path have you been doing? I’ve been switching my runes to match what Saint Vicious uses on him so I can do the wolves with vamp scepter path and that’s been pretty dicey so far.

Are ranked matches sorted by Elo (that is to say, highest elo on top as the ban chooser)? At the moment, I seem to be banner in all of my games, and I’m banning GP/Amumu/Tryndamere.

Play a tournament for money or RP, all give 3 bans per side.

That said, we’ve been waiting for 3 bans per side to be part of the regular game for some time, they should add this for season 2.

I was using TheOddOne route (which he took from StoneWall(?) I believe), but I found I hadn’t put points in defence masteries and I think that, combined with my lack of armour runes, mean I don’t have the necessary survivability to pull it off. Cloth and 5 pots till then I think.
