Good tips, thanks, yeah the sword of the divine only really worked out sometimes on some experimental AD/AS builds I was trying as it would just make that stacked deck attack hit very hard together with it, but it doesn’t seem as great as it could be. But it’s really crap eh?

MPen Quint over more AP? And do you really need doran’s with blue card or is it more for the survivability and the extra AP? On almost any game I’ve been going boots + pots first as he just seems so awfully slow. Read a couple people now suggesting Sorc’s Boots, but I like your suggestion of Ionian more for even more card tosses. Would you get Merc’s if there’s lots of stuns on the enemy team or are you pretty much dead in that case anyway if you get caught? And how do you usually handle blue buff in random games? Should I just go grab it when I think I’m capable? Guess I’m still new enough I’m not sure who needs it more than me.

I’ll have to try your AD build in a while, but I’m on an AP kick right now until I get horribly beaten with it again. The wild cards appear easy to dodge but when they do connect…damn.

Boots+pots is better if you’re at a higher level of play, I’m not sure what kind of games you get into. For me usually a quick yellow card pick was good enough to stop anyone from getting in your face.

And yeah, TF is a dead man when caught, so I usually don’t run Merc Treads on any carry. Sorc boots or Ionian, experiment with both.

Blue Buff should be easily grabbable when you get needlessly large rod, but usually around level 7 or so you want to tell your jungler to help you get it so you can quickly go back to mid and farm up creep waves.

I also loved my first game. I love when the whole enemy team groups up to fight over one point and I just back-cap one of theirs, making it even. We won by 100, which is not bad, I think!

Promote is pretty good imo. Garrison I’m not sold on yet.

Ghost is tremendously helpful.

five games of Dominion played, all epic fun, even when we lost. Best game ever was being down over 300 points early and coming back to win 3/0. Played a wide mix of champs (Kennen, Rumble, Singed, Lux, Renekton) and all seemed solid and capable. I can’t wait for this to be available all the time. I have no motivation to play Summoner’s Rift or Twisted Treeline anymore.

I switched from playing Renekton to Vayne and stomped two games. Vayne is an amazing champ for Dominion… there are walls everywhere! I think Nidalee would also be great, since there’s bush everywhere.

I saw a poppy wreck face for the same reasons, lost of places to hide in brush and pop out to slam someone into a wall. Plus she doesn’t need to farm!

Poppy, Gangplank, Blitzcrank and Rammus all seem to be incredibly good in Dominions thanks to their innate mobility and the disruption they cause.

At least, from my 4/5 games of experience ;)

Not really, since mobility matters quite a lot more in this then it does in TT.

Didn’t enjoy Riven at all in my time with her. The lack of mobility and the weak shield are key reasons. I think one solution, besides buffing the shield, would be to add a double-tap dash on the shield - for extra distance. If her ult removed or resisted or even immuned disables, she would be really good/OP.

I played one game of Dominion and yeah I gotta say it’s pretty mindless. I can see metagames being built around it pretty quickly though. I decided to play Akali and in a situation like that where there are so many chasing situations she can run down anyone.

Dragonpup’s Pantheon choice was also supreme, I can see Panth finding a comfortable home in Dominion.
