A lot of people are building straight damage/AP in Dominion, because they see the money roll in and just want to do omg crazy damage. Doing this with Heimer in Domination is going to leave you completely incapable of defending a point and basically useless come “late” game. After you get a couple AP items, build a some resistances like an Hourglass and Odyn’s Veil. Poppy doesn’t have the sustain to solo challenge a semi competent Heimer who dug in with his turrets and can take those two bursts.

No, the area around the tower is not that big. They put a lot of walls and barriers around them, enough to get off a charge stun.

You still get gold from minion kills, the only thing poppy can knock you into is the tower itself, it’s quite easy to move so that poppy doesn’t get a straight shot.

On a different note, the few Heimers I’ve seen have captured a base point (the one near to your opponents spawn) and simply sat there all game, effectively denying 2 points to the enemy. And it really takes 3 people to dislodge a Heimer who has built tanky and has a Garrison as backup, which means when they do try to capture it back it leaves the rest of your team free to capture everything else.

I’m quite sure you don’t need sight to hit champions with the missile, the button lights up as soon as enemy champion in range.

Rylai -> abyssal = already quite tanky. you don’t need CDR on heimer at all.

Dominions mode is fun. Got a single game in and it was good times. I can see dominions being a fun way to experiment with a character in a low-pressure environment (with obvious constraints). Jax was fun!

Yes! I was just about to buy Alistar, he is the only tank I am OK with. Saves me some IP but I’m not feeling the skin though.

The nice thing is that if you get a champ with a skin, you also get the base champ. So you never really need to use the skin.

Heimer is great in Dominion. I still haven’t found any TWO champions that can actually cause me to lose my turret.

Only problem is that I’m at the mercy of the rest of my team doing well with the top turrets in order to win the game.

as long as rest of your team is competent, it’s an easy 4vs3 or 2 advantage to your side since they can’t move your afro out turret range without multiple people.

Long range skill shotty stuff fuck up the turrets like ezreal i got him on my game as heim and he was a pain.
