Well I guess you can use her ult like a mini-ghost, but invisibility isn’t that big of a deal when the map is totally covered in bushes and jungle and everyone on my team could always beat her 1v1. Maybe I’ll have to try playing her with Atmogs or something.

Yeah she’s much more of a factor in Summoner’s Rift I think. The size of the map and the farming-centric gameplay makes her an excellent roamer, but she quickly falls apart in the thick of things in Dominion and her great ganking early game is nullified by the speed of experience gain.

I find she’s pretty good in Dom. She’s good at backdoor capping, and in addition she is good at surprising the opponent when they think they have an advantage. They see solo guy bot and go in with 2, and it’s 2v2 and they melt.

Just had a Dominion game where it was like 350 to 10 with us being the 10 and we won 10-0.

Glad Dominion is out because I had one of those weekends that makes you want to quit playing this game.

3 straight losses right when I was about to top my previous high ranking. 2 times with terrible bot lanes, and a third where our Annie just flat out quit 10 minutes in because he thought I wasn’t ganking enough (was jungling as Nocturne, he was mid against Kassadin). And also our bot lane was terrible again.

Blech.

Had similar last night (long way behind, due to a Yi AFK for first 3-4 minutes, then won)

I like to think that my tankwick had something to do with it (they were all AD/ tanky DPS) Started slow, but by time I had tabi/thornmail/frozen heart/ randuins I was winning team fights by just being there. Don’t think opposing team had a single defensive item…

You play her as AP not AD.

I’m doing mobility boots > sheen > RoA (for health against all the tanky dps) -> deathcap > lichbane

Skip the RoA and grab the Storm shield instead.

Yeah I’m finding Storm Shield to be that tactical advantage that you give to your assassin or hard carry. Though I’ll never play a game as Akali without getting Rylai’s as fast as possible. My runes do the rest of the work.

Is it me or does the player base get more ragey the higher the level you get? Which seems counter-intuitive, since once you hit 30 you really have nothing to lose.

you get less ip if you lose, but it’s not really about losing IP.

People at level 30 have played 100+ games. They also play ranked games.

So I think you tend to lose some of the pure stupid, and gain the “I could be pro, if only all my teammates didn’t suck” game is serious business type ragers.

hahah, so true in some instantce. I was on mumble while chiffy plays with bunny, and I overheard chiffy going “you guys just need to not suck in laning phase, so we can win in late game!!!”
