I didn’t like Hotshot’s initiations with Galio, but it didn’t help that Vayne could just shoot him away. Elementz is also their weakest link, I think that shows in every game they play.

Yeah Elementz got ripped apart in that second game and really just set them back a lot because it kind of screwed Chauster.

Also CLG never seems to have an initiator except when Elementz plays Sona, Hotshot plays Galio or Chauster plays Ashe and this tournament they fucked up a ton of initiation skill shots.

I’m not sure why Hotshot didn’t pick Jax again for game 3. It made no sense to go Galio. The only “tank” they need is Vicious on Udyr.

I just watched the spotlight video. He seems very similar to Brand.

I went to bed before game 3 and haven’t watched the replay.

One thing I’ve noticed is that sometimes Hotshot decides he is going to play a certain champ and then forces the rest of the team to deal with it.

I really think at some point CLG is gonna break up and form some new teams.

They should find a support player that makes less mistakes. The person on CLG most likely to find another team and succeed further is probably Saint Vicious, who is a team player through and through and an amazing jungler… and he’s also the least awkward when speaking in interviews. I have no idea why CLG picked BigFatLP to give the pre-game interview.

SaintVicious is hilarious. See also the jungle Veigar video that was linked earlier.

And that’s another quality he has… he doesn’t really say shit that makes his team do worse. Bigfatlp has a bad personality (see his “we played like shit” comment at their final dreamhack game) and Chauster has no personality.

Yeah, I think part of that is because Saint actually has real world life experience (he was in the Navy or something) so he understands how to interact with real humans as well as the importance of teamwork/proper leadership etc.

The few times they’ve broadcast post a stream or tourney and actually talked or whatever he’s commented a lot on how no one on the team is a leader. Compared to say TSM where Regi is the leader and the team follows what he says etc.

I mean we’re talking about socially awkward guys who formed a team based on their individual abilities and not any real friendship.

Chaox actually makes the calls on TSM, even though Regi is the captain. It’s quite clear if you ever listen to any of their vent casts.

I never noticed, always seemed like Regi would be the one that comes out with the brilliant idea of what to do at the right time about once per game.

Their base race top tower rush during Dreamhack HAD to have been a Regi maneuver.

You do wonder, given that Riot is making more money than god, why they can’t seem to create a stable situation in terms of logging in, server availability, etc.

I’m sure I’m overly simplifying this, but World of Warcraft seemed to eventually figure it out, and League of Legends feels like it is about 1/1000 as complicated as that.

The backbone of their game is a pile of dog shit, that’s the problem. I’m not a programmer but it seems like their game has a lot of intertwined code that is co-dependent and modifying some code breaks other shit.

The situations that arise during tournaments is pretty indicative of that, and it’s obvious at this point that even simple shit like their tournament observer mode during Dreamhack is something that has to be broken during other updates to the game, otherwise they would have used it at the IEM.

Or come out with replay or observer systems…

why should they hire programmer when they can rely on their player to make those feature for them for FREEE, they didn’t get rich by giving out money!!!

God damn Dominion. Fucking baddy after baddy after baddy.

I think it’s excusable that their normal use syste is unstable given their growth. But a new dedicated lan system having problems? It’s hard to blame anything but poor decision making.

Well, given that I am not very good with skill shot AP characters like Lux, but do awesome as Veigar and LeBlanc, I was looking for a new ‘blow load’ ap character that was top tier.

First game as Annie I ended up bot with the new dude mid. Went 11/2/7. Ok, so this is what top tier champions feel like.

Yes. And the other half of the time it feels like getting ganked repeatedly and then doing absolutely nothing of use as you finally get a needlessly large rod 25 minutes into the game.

Try Brand. Skillshots are the point of AP carries.

Morgana is the best AP caster!!! DA BEST.
