Yeah, certain victory and defeat are much rarer in Domion than in classic. It’s really kind of annoying when people declare that the game is over and your team has lost when the score is 100-250 and then stop trying. Probably half the games I’ve been in where my team was down that score have turned around into a win. Earlier today my team started out getting five-capped at the start of the game. Fifteen minutes later we were five-capping the enemy for the win.

I’d rather save my team the embarrassment. When the whole team runs back to top and gets aced the second time in a row, and then a third time as they catch the enemy in the jungle and run in 1v3, without anyone even blinking at the possibility of capping some other point for distraction, I’m not sticking around anymore. That game is lost.

I’m not talking about 5v5 premades where everyone is putting in an effort and the game is swinging back and forth due to counter-strategies.

I once bent around a 141 -1 game to 0-1. I can somewhat understand afking in classic but in Dominion it is simply inexcusable. Especially seeing that if you are being snowballed the game will actually be over faster (whereas in classic it might still take 20 minutes).

The only situation that would warrant a surrender is if the enemy team locks you into your spawn point and you can’t break out after trying repeatedly. And if that happens the game will be over in two minutes anyway.
