IEM is being broadcast through Twitch.tv however.

Thanks! Playing ranked as annie again. I cannot help but feel like every single time I either pwn face or get pwned. I can’t beat Kassy mid ever. This game against Kat mid should be easy sauce tho.

Allright, I tried it, against AI so far. It was actually rather fun, although a bit of a slog. The AI was trouncing us, at least in combat - it had a tough time focusing on turrets and would get distracted by any human cluster of heroes easily - but when we hit level cap we slowly turned it around. It helped that we were focusing on turrets, so we were mostly there already.

The AI is also very good at temping you to go too far. I am so guilty of chasing that last hero on their last legs (who then saunters up to a turret and watches it blow me away, of course).

The only downside is that it took forever. Not sure if this will be anything but a very late night, once a week thing for me due to its uninterruptible status. :/ I also had a very hard time with click-to-move and kept wanting to WASD, hah.

Either way, thanks for the recommendations to try it, I definitely had fun. And the other players were pretty focused and non-chatty, unlike say, the XBL “community” (which I was expecting).

Are you playing beginner or intermediate AI?

Once you get the hang of the game, AI games shouldn’t really last more than 25 minutes or so tops, assuming you want to finish it and not farm kills for funsies. Real games on Summoner’s Rift can be over in a similar span, but depending on the skill involved can be as much as an hour or so. 25 minutes is a long Dominion game.

I hate people giving up in Dom games. I’ve only played one or two where I truly felt like giving up.

I once bent around a 141 -1 game to 0-1. I can somewhat understand afking in classic but in Dominion it is simply inexcusable. Especially seeing that if you are being snowballed the game will actually be over faster (whereas in classic it might still take 20 minutes).

The only situation that would warrant a surrender is if the enemy team locks you into your spawn point and you can’t break out after trying repeatedly. And if that happens the game will be over in two minutes anyway.

And I’m AFK for those two minutes.

And I still see that you idiots are responding to a situation you can’t recognize or you’ve never seen. Last time the loss was 480-0. That’s not a turn around situation at any point in the game. That’s a guaranteed LOSS.

Yes, those are half hour games where the 4 players up top decide to do something productive instead of losing 2 or 3 teamfights in a row while letting my tower get assfucked up Yorick, who at the moment I haven’t found a good counter for because his ghosts are up ALL THE TIME.

And you know what, even if we could come back, I’m not going to, because those 4 useless feeders have decided that I’m at the bottom of the points list because I must suck, and not because bot lane gives you shitty point scores unless you can actually hold the turret (read: need ganks) or take the turret (read: nearly impossible against Yorick unless you’re Morgana or Heimerdinger or Garen).

So you know what? Fuck 'em, I’m AFK. They can run dying into the enemy team one after another and engage in solo fights they can’t win into the middle of the map. Game will be over in 5 minutes tops and I’ll get to play again.

That’s a pretty good idea, I think. His purple bullshit scales with the tougher creeps since it lasts until one dies, right? Doesn’t matter how strong the creep is?

I Was thinking maybe Irelia since you could mount some crazy sustain (I run hp/5 quints on her right now). But the smaller creep waves may not be enough/sorta benefit Yorick more. Also, she seems wasted if she’s in the game and not top/roaming.
