I’ve been fucked up by a Yorick rocking Triforce, I don’t know if that’s a thing.

A clearer explanation of Malzahar’s Malefic Visions: it’s cast on a single enemy target and has a fixed duration. If the target it’s on dies while Malefic Visions is still active on it, it jumps to the nearest enemy target in range. If there is no such target in range, it ends.

I took Malz bot against Yorick recently, it is a little tough to keep up at first but if you’re maxing Visions it’s not too bad after a few levels in it. You can drop your pool under them and even hit them with Q if necessary to keep your E going longer, if you’re trying to hold back Yorick’s lane pushing and you don’t expect to need them for Yorick himself before they’re off CD again. The great thing about Visions is that, like Morgana, once you have enough AP to keep it going perpetually, you can drop it and walk away if things might get hot there.

EDIT: I almost forgot. You get mana back when a Target with an active Visions on it dies, which helps you stay there pushing back.

Cooldown Xerath didn’t do great. In the end, the fundamental problem is that if they dodge your Q, you’ve got one spell to do anything to them with and then Brand runs into your face and eats you.

And Q is laughably easy to dodge.
