I’ve found Rumble to be a decent counter to Yorick bot on Dominion. Yorick can try to hide and use his minions, but I can simply flame on, and spell vamp my way past any lasting damage, and hurt him at the same time.

Though that Yorick could simply have been terrible. Rumble also seems to do ok versus Akali, since i can often peg her with the taser or just flame her if she tries to run via the bubble.

Akali is a stupid fucking ban, easily countered by a bunch of typical champ picks. People should be banning Shaco, even with an oracle his stupid fucking stealth/flash sends him too far away to do anything about it.

AP Shaco is by far the most annoying champion I’ve run into on Dominion. I guess an Oracle on a ranged champ mostly counters him, but he’s still annoying.

This is why I cringe whenever I see a last-pick Katarina. She gets readily owned by anyone that can get in her face when she blinks to them, or stop her from using her ultimate (that’s a lot of champions, which is why she’s nearly always a trash pick).

To be honest, I’m too impatient with the draft system. It takes long enough in the blind mode for people to pick their champs, and not get someone dropping from the pick screen last minute as it is. Add in making everyone wait for picks, and its almost as much time as it takes to get a game going. Though maybe I’m just sensitive to it, I also can’t stand how long it takes for the game to start after its loaded. I wish they would scale it or something, give noobs the full two minutes to pick their item and browse the store, but everyone else doesn’t need that time.

Yes, that’s how you pick her if the other team has no silence/knockup/push/stun in the first place. Otherwise you don’t pick her at all.

No, it does not. In dominion you get to sit around at your store, and wait for the platforms to move into place and the forcefield to drop. That time could easily be distilled down to a shorter increment than it is. I’m used to CS and its like 10 second time to buy your shit and get moving, it starts to grate when it takes two minutes for the game to really begin after its loaded.

Hell, I also think they should drop you into the game once you get to 100%, let the people with better comps chat with their teammates, ping the map, or shop instead of forcing us to look at a loading bar screen. The least they could do is have a little chatbox there. (Yeah, I realize when people use a 3rd party voice system they can still chat, and thank god for that, as that penny arcade about the guy who seems to be playing from russia on a ngage seems pretty true sometimes)

Yeah, that’s fine, but let the other folks at least be in-game instead of stare at a loading screen without the ability to do any input. Does that give them a slight advantage? Sure, but woopity do, especially in dominion, where you can’t do anything til the game starts anyway.

I agree with Josh. Load time plus another 90secs is too long. If there was no time allocated for loading and the game simply started after 60 seconds I would be a lot happier.

In Ranked games they could stick with the slower system to be fairer, but honestly I’m happy to get occasionally fucked over by a Pentium 3 user / Pogo in 5% of games if 100% of them start faster.
