Jim, the words you’re using are causing me pain.

Chaox and TreeEskimo have lots of videos on lots of champs, but mostly just go to solomid and watch the video in the featured guide to whichever champion you’re interested in. Actually, just go to solomid for the featured guides, period. Just keep in mind that most of the “approved” guides are, well, bad, and the rest? Worse. But featured? Featured is good.

If you just want things that are hilarious and impressive, you watch these

I see nothing in the first post about zoning.

oh god i played on that girl’s wow server. most annoying voice.

So the unused summoner names got wiped last night w/o any indication from Riot. They finally posted something today.

Names are going fast, and unfortunately some people are camping names with new unused accounts (it feels like City of XXX name camping). So I didn’t get Cougar because someone created a new account to hold it, but I did get the shortened Coug which I’m fine with.

So not the optimal outcome, but a good second.

I’d have to assume that for any online community of any size, the chances of getting a name like Cougar, Tiger, Mustang, Maverick, Hercules…like, any kind of name a car or plane would be named after in the 50’s would go well nigh instantly.

Unfortunately the level 5 “mcknight” who has never logged in since I joined the game didn’t get wiped :/

Or else it hasn’t happened on EU yet.

Oh yah. That is certainly a problem with my handle, and I totally understand that :) I’m proud of all the games and places I can actually snag it in. Coug is a not often used version that I’ve grown fond of over the years (my Eve character of 5 years was named that, and I’m VERY used to being called that on teamspeak now because of it).

With the help of retard pubbie Morgana, Peacedog and I have discovered that duo AP mid is, in fact, the new and best meta. Solo graves bot OP.

I’ve never lost a game where we’ve had a duo mid! It’s only happened like three times, but all three times the enemy team hated us so much. It’s also so much more fun than the current meta.

From a strategic options point of view doesn’t duo mid make more sense anyway? Having more champs mid increases the potential pressure you can apply to top or bottom lane while still having 3 champs within the bottom half of the map to control dragon. The only hitch is having a champ who can competently 2v1 at bot; Gragas, Cho, and Morde come to mind for that role.

I was in an EU game with 4 AD carries (who of course picked after Sona and I as Vayne locked in)… Tryndamere, Talon, and jungle Yi.

They were all pretty terrible, but I was lagging and so I was terrible as well. We got ganked repeatedly by a roaming Alistar, though I held up my own farm bot lane against a Kassadin/Karma combo.

Somehow we pulled through… Yi kept tower pushing top and we kept catching people in the jungle, even though they had total control of it. They couldn’t keep their towers up against 4 AD carries… I tried multiple surrender votes after failed teamfights but their team just played as badly as min did… and we won after 50 minutes. Ugh.

Throwing the meta for a loop is a viable tactic, though. CLG attempted 2v1 top lane and I believe they put Galio to solo bot against the typical support+AD. I don’t remember if they won, but it didn’t work out badly per se.

Is Graves any good now? I tried him on Dominion yesterday and completely hated him. Crap range, boring ult, really short dash, only minor utility from his W. Wasn’t sure if I should be building attack speed to refresh his E or mostly ignoring it to focus on CDR and damage for his Q. What is there to like?

Graves is probably still the best ranged AD in the game.

I realized that he kind of makes Vayne less of a good pick.

I’ve honestly always wondered why there weren’t 2 mid by default. It’s the center, you can go wherever easily if need be.

It’s far easier to gank mid then to gank Bottom/Top. Bottom actually grants you stronger Dragon control if it is pushed. Typically you put more then one person in a lane because you want to guarantee farm for one person. You don’t do that by roaming/ganking. For some champions levels matter a ton, even more then gold up to a certain point.

Graves has stomped face in every game I’ve seen him in since he was released.

But like Lazy I’ve never lost a game where it’s happened with our side doing it, though it is super rare. I think we should collectively start experimenting with it and see if we can push it as the new meta.

People seem to forget this. Two levels can be two ranks of a skill, two ranks of a skill spanning over 100 extra damage, cast by a champ that has like 100 extra health.

And more often than not it’s some brash level 12 champ going head-on into a level 15 or level 16 champ that gets his ass whooped and wonders why.
