A very common Vayne build is Wriggles (and one or 2 dorans blades) into a Black Cleaver. Then itemize from there.

That seems… interesting. I usually go 2x doran’s + base boots, BFS, Zeal, upgrade my boots, get the iedge, and then get a negatron cloak usually. But I’ve been seeing a lot of physical damage and realizing that it really hurts and my build has basically no armor whatsoever.

In point of fact, the majority of players are at or below that level, so yes.

Take it from me, as I’m firmly ensconced at a terrible level - that’s just about everyone at that level. I pretty much have a chat phrase on macro - “Seems like everyone is always in ELO hell because of everyone else, and no one because of himself.”

This is true. Instead, you fall into a level where 3 or 4 of your teammates are at least halfway decent, and one idiot goes 1/14/2. Basically, you go from getting owned by that one badass guy on the other team to being owned by one idiot on your own team. Remember what I said about bitching about everyone else? I don’t do that. I generally just bitch about one idiot on my team, because 80% of the time there is one absolute idiot on your team.

Lower level ELO seems to be basically about trying to rape their idiot more than they can rape yours.

You can wait till level 20 to buy Tier 3 runes (to replace Tier 1 runes of course, since Tier 2 runes are extremely terrible in terms of IP/power ratio)

Tier 2 ones are weaker, but actually have a better IP/effect ratio than tier 3 ones. You get 78% of the effect for 40% of the money.
Tier 1 runes are even more cost efficient, giving 56% of the effect for 7% of the money.

Since runes aren’t used up cost efficiency is of little value however, so everyone should be advised to go for tier 3 ones. I just like to point out that you were wrong Pogo. :P

In general saying something that is the complete opposite of the truth is not a question of semantics but one of understanding.

Even a correct opinion can be based on false assumptions. Everyone should be advised to go for tier 3 runes, but the reason you gave is just factually wrong, no matter if looked upon backwards or sideways or from any other angle.

Fine. If you have a Tier 1 ArPen mark, you can spend 135 IP to gain 0.36 ArPen, or you can spend 380 IP to gain 0.73 ArPen, but if you do both then you spend 515 IP for the same end result.

Don’t buy Tier 2 because the price jump doesn’t coincide with increased benefit on something that you’re going to be able to upgrade soon enough anyways.

So the patch preview says “we’re not buffing these underused AD carries much because it’s a tournament patch, don’t want any big changes”. At the same time, total mastery and SS revamp!! Silly Riot.
